In July of 2018 my then-day-job, Big Fish Games, moved to new headquarters in downtown Seattle. I’m not at that job anymore. But I’m keeping these pics anyway just because they include the Alaskan Way Viaduct, which is due to be demolished in early 2019. (And I do miss the job, too!)
My new desk!
My new desk, which is a) adjustable, whoo fancy! and also b) blessed by my poster of Le Vent du Nord, as is just and right and proper.
Cushiest Standup Area Ever
This is our new spot for having our daily standups. I like the plants AND the chairs.
Cushiest Standup Spot Ever, #2
Another shot of the cushy standup area! And the large super-villainy swivel-type chair.
Marion Street View
This is the view out the windows that face Marion.
Gigantic Viaduct is Gigantic
This is the view of the viaduct, which is large and noisy and RIGHT BY THE BUILDING. This view will get a lot more interesting when the viaduct comes down.
North out the windows near my desk
This is facing north out the windows near my desk, which overlook the Alaskan Way viaduct.
Up on the Roof #1
Went up on the roof to have my lunch and goodness, the view is neat up there. Nice little green area with plants and tables we can eat at, as well. This is the view facing south.
Up on the Roof #2
Second shot of the roof view, starting to rotate from south to north.
Up on the Roof #3
Third roof shot.
Up on the Roof #4
Fourth roof shot, with more of the viaduct in it.
Up on the Roof #5
Roof shot number five, almost straight out across the water. More of the viaduct, as well as a better look out into the bay.
Up on the Roof #6
Shot number 6, facing more northward. You can see the Seattle Ferris Wheel.
Up on the Roof #7
Seventh and final roof shot, more or less directly north.
