Site update

Made some small updates to my Faanshi character page, and some updates to her logs page as well; four new logs have been added to her 1999 logs. Watch this space for an upcoming overhaul of Faanshi’s page. Also made some small updates to my main AetherMUSH index.

Fixed the blurb display problem that meant that none of my text blurbs were showing up in Opera — though for the time being the blurb flipping won’t work under that browser, you will at least see blurbs there now if you’re an Opera user. If you want to see the nifty blurb flipping, though, send me some Javascript help and I’ll see if I can make the fix a better one. ;)

In the meantime, posted new Faanshi logs, “Answer to a Prayer”, “A Lesson in Swimming — and Something More” (year 2001 RP), “A Talk by the Shrine”, “Bringing Home a Wayward Daughter”, and “Reporting In Again” (all year 2000 RP) to the Faanshi logs page.

Linked in the Old Roleplay Logs section of my Two Moons MUSH page, added my first Nethack ascension report to the Nethack page, and updated the Sitemap accordingly.

I have also had reported to me that my blurb scripts do not work under the Opera browser, unfortunately. The problem is that I can’t figure out what exactly I need to do to fix that. If anybody out there knows Opera well enough, or knows Javascript well enough, to try to help me out with that, let me know and I’ll see if I can roll Opera into the list of browsers on which my web page is known to go.

I fixed a couple minor bugs with the blurb scripts, as well; the addition of the Nethack button had screwed up functionality on Netscape 4. This is now fixed. The Writing and Credits blurbs should display there just fine.
