Site update

So I got tired of this site not quite matching the layout of the rest of my site — not to mention the fact that although I’m fond of my Strongbow background, text was a bit hard to read on top of it. So I’ve prettied things up around here a bit. Things are still kind of subdued chromatically speaking, but well hey, that’s Strongbow for you; if you want a striking color scheme, you probably want to go visit a Rayek site. ;) Hope y’all like what I’ve done around here. Feel free to drop me a line and let me know!

Also, I’ve done the following changes:

  • Rearranged the links on the Fanfic page some, to make them more visually easy to read
  • Fixed a broken link for Part 2 of Amazonestar’s piece, The Soulmate Series
  • Loner’s story “Aunts” has been removed by request
  • Removed all update items from this page which dated before the current year, and moved them to a What’s New Archive page for the truly desperately interested
  • Updated the Roster, with a bunch of links either removed or updated, and it’s about as current as I can make it right now
  • Updated the Other Links page, removing some dead links and adding in the link for Teir’s Den, which I should have done a long time ago because well hey, Teir’s almost as cute as Strongbow
  • And last, but not least, a new fanfic by Loner has been posted, Part 1 of a piece called ”True Lifemates”

Site update

Life has been complicated for the members of Three Good Measures lately. A lot of us have had things happen to cause upheavals in our lives as of late — not the least of which is the unexpected passing away of our friend Jen in Nova Scotia. We heard about this via the Gruntland.com bulletin board, and were all very shocked and saddened to get the news. We have dedicated our web page to her memory.

On a more positive note, however, we are pleased to bring Dana Chauncey into our midst — the same Dana who has sat in once so far for a session with us. She is a fellow 30 Odd Foot of Grunts fan, along with myself and Cyn, and will be contributing vocals initially until she is comfortable with the guitar and possibly also the fiddle. Y’all look for her on our Bios page!

Dana joined us for today’s session, Jam #29, now posted on the Jams index along with Jam #28 as well. Oh, and we have a couple more haiku on the Haiku page, too. One of ’em was even written by a FAN!

A new fanfic by Loner has been posted, Part One of a tale called “Aunts” — in which a cub who’ll eventually grow into our favorite archer tries to live up to the colorful example of his archer mother, with the help of her sisters.

Updated the overall style of the page to match the rest of my Two Moons pages; also, removed some out-of-date data from the NPC page until the Scattered Tribe NPC database is available again.
