Very low-key session in which I did only a little actual adventuring, really—and a lot of crafting to work on leveling up.Continue reading “In Which Merawen Continues General Adventuring”
This session was mostly all about running the quest called The Only Cure, which is the Daedric quest for the Spellbreaker shield, the reward given you by Peryite. More on this, and other action, behind the fold!Continue reading “In Which Merawen Acquires the Spellbreaker Shield”
Most of the action of this session was just general adventuring and crafting—up to the part where I got back to Markarth, and ran the Forsworn Conspiracy/No One Escapes Cidhna Mine! plot again.Continue reading “In Which Merawen Foils a Conspiracy and Escapes Cidhna Mine”
I boinged around a lot in this session, but in between all of the fast traveling, I did actually also revisit the main plot! Which meant taking the Dragon Elder Scroll up to the top of the Throat of the World, learning Dragonrend, and having the first round of fighting with Alduin.
And Alduin was only one of the dragons I fought in this session, though unlike the two Revered Dragons and the Ancient one, he actually survived the fight!
Next to that, doing the Mind of Madness quest and getting the Wabbajack from Sheogorath was a relaxing vacation. :DContinue reading “In Which Merawen Finally Fights Alduin and Also Acquires the Wabbajack”
This was a big crunchy session, with three main overall things I did: running the Angarvunde dungeon, doing the Cursed Tribe Daedric quest, and finally properly clearing Arcwind Point.
Killed not one, not two, but three Revered Dragons. Fortunately not all at once. And now I have a very, very large hammer. As well as an increased appreciation for using magic both offensively and defensively!Continue reading “In Which Merawen Aids a Treasure-Seeker and the Largashbur Orc Stronghold”
I was in the mood for a low-key and frivolous session, now that I’m between doing Dragonborn and finishing up the main quest. So for this session, I mostly boinged around a lot between various places, moving resources around, buying more resources, and working on building Windstad Minor.
But I also did one of the most frivolous Daedric quests in the game: A Night to Remember, which features the Daedric prince of debauchery, Sanguine!Continue reading “In Which Merawen Has a Way Livelier Night Than Anticipated”
This session was actually a couple of smaller sessions on the same day with a break between, but for purposes of this post, I’m still calling it one session. And this cycle of play started fairly low-key—but finished with a bang!
Because I finally became thane of Hjaalmarch, not a terribly difficult thing to do when I was level 65. And then I finally finished up the main Dragonborn plot, and took out Miraak!Continue reading “In Which Merawen Becomes Thane of Hjaalmarch and Also Defeats Miraak”
This session turned out to be focused entirely on a jaunt back to Skyrim proper. I’d gone over intending to do a circuit of all the houses and sell things, but a couple of surprises turned up!
Not the least of which was my very first incident of having to fight a dragon right inside Solitude.Continue reading “In Which Merawen Tells Sapphire About Her Father, and Slays a Dragon in Solitude”
This was a shorter session than expected for a play session on a Saturday night–in no small part because I’d had to work Saturday afternoon, and I was pretty fried. If I’m yawning my damn fool head off every couple of minutes, no matter how much I want to, I can’t really effectively stay up until stupid-o’clock playing Skyrim!
So I only stayed up until slightly-foolish-o’clock. ;)Continue reading “In Which Merawen Clears Benkongerike and Slays the Dragon Viinturuth”
Low-key session for the most part, mostly with the goal of satisfying the Briarheart Necropsy quest. And what I had time for aside from that was basically hitting all my houses and doing a loot check, and selling things in various places, before finally returning to Solstheim.Continue reading “In Which Merawen Does a Circuit Around Skyrim”
