High amount of things accomplished this session! Got Nettlebane and brought Danica Pure-Spring a sapling of Eldergleam. Cleared Ustengrav, and discovered some mysterious party had made off with the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller (ohnoez WHO COULD IT BE). Got Noster One-Eye in Solitude his missing helmet. Got enough ingredients to go finish up Balimund’s quest and a bonus, enough ice wraith teeth for Marise. So I was able to eventually buy Honeyside, and become Thane of Riften!
I started the Bards College quest, just to get the skill bumps off of that. And parked myself at Forsaken Cave to do the White Phial retrieval.
Just what it says in the subject line, mostly–the two big events of this session were my defeating the Ebony Warrior, and getting both Ulfric and Tullius on board with the peace council hosted by the Greybeards.
In this session, all this work I’ve been doing on general adventuring and crafting has started to pay off. I made it to level 80, and I did two of the five ritual quests for the mage college–the ones for the Alteration and Conjuration schools.
Also, I fought and killed my first Legendary Dragon!
This session was actually a couple of smaller sessions on the same day with a break between, but for purposes of this post, I’m still calling it one session. And this cycle of play started fairly low-key—but finished with a bang!
Because I finally became thane of Hjaalmarch, not a terribly difficult thing to do when I was level 65. And then I finally finished up the main Dragonborn plot, and took out Miraak!
This session was all about getting the remaining Stones of Barenziah, pretty much. And by extension, I wound up triggering the quest to get the Daedric artifact Mehrunes’ Razor, just because that gives me a convenient way to go to one of the remaining locales for the Stones! Plus, it was a quest I hadn’t done before.
A shorter session, since this was a Sunday, but still got in successfully running Sunderstone Gorge finally, and hunting for ingredients for Ingun Black-Briar. And also paid a visit to the Face Sculptor! So now Merawen is a brunette!
In this session, the main highlight was Merawen making it into the Thieves Guild. And now I’ve got a couple of quests queued up with them, which are going to require me to do some preliminary work on my skills before I tackle them for real!
Highlights, commentary, etc., all behind the fold.
This session pretty much amounted to doing the rest of the preliminary work to get Merawen established enough as Dragonborn that I could get to the point of failing to find the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller… and then bailing to Riften.
Highlights and commentary and such behind the fold!
This is a long one, so buckle up! Had multiple sessions yesterday, before and after dinner, and did a lot of things! Bought Proudspire Manor and the property where I could build Heljarchen Hall. Cleared out Raldbthar to get the second Aetherium Shard. Killed a whole lotta bandits. And kept having dead dragons drop on me in the middle of Whiterun!
Bought Proudspire Manor in Solitude finally, which let me become Elisif’s thane
Helped an extra person in Solitude because the “Assist the people of Haafingar” quest is buggy and wouldn’t clear even though I’d already helped five people
Went to Raldbthar to find Aetherium Shard #2, and killed a bunch of bandits, dwarven mechanisms, and Falmer
Once back in Whiterun, let Lyds rest up while I headed west to find the Sleeping Tree giant camp and clear it out, so that I could follow up on Ysolda’s interesting backstory
Went to Dawnstar to finally buy the property from the Jarl there, and have a place for housecarl Gregor to show up and be steward of; built Heljarchen Hall just a little ways north of Whiterun
Had amusing buggy behavior with dead dragons showing up right in the middle of Whiterun
Visited Windstad Manor to build a few more things and check on Valdimar, and killed more bandits
Walked all the way to Morthal while overloaded, but using Whirlwind Sprint to go faster (lol), and killed more bandits en route
Got a courier to bring me another “Letter from a Friend” with a clue about where to find another Word Wall
Sold some stuff at the apothecary in Morthal once I remembered the place doesn’t have a forge
Had a friggin’ ELDER DRAGON drop right on Morthal and kill me before I could get stuff dropped and actually fight it
Whirlwind-Sprinted my way to Solitude when I realized I could get there faster than Whiterun, and discovered the carriage there doesn’t work when you’re overloaded
Finally got unburdened by selling all my bandit loot and making armor to sell, and then bought a living room for Proudspire
