In July of 2013 Dara and I took a weekend trip to Harrison Hot Springs in British Columbia, so that I could attend a tiny music festival and see De Temps Antan play!
The weekend was entirely delightful and I documented it in these posts:
Here’s the album of all the pics! They’re ordered by which photos were actually used in posts, and then everything else.
Road Scenery
This is a shot I took in the car on the way up to Harrison Hot Springs. I just liked the wide open sky and the hills ahead of us. Taken on July 5, 2013.
Not A Typical Cow
This was NOT a standard example of the sorts of cows we drove past. Taken on July 5, 2013.
Jean-Claude Approves of Our Room
The well-bred mammoth DOES prefer nice accommodations when on a weekend vacation! Taken on July 5, 2013.
Lake at Harrison Hot Springs
This was our view of the lake when we arrived at Harrison Hot Springs on our July 2013 trip. Taken on July 5, 2013.
Rocks Fall But Nobody Dies As Far As We Know
This was a bit of what looked like old rockfall by the path that goes around the lake at Harrison Hot Springs. Taken on July 5, 2013.
Through the Wall of the Pumphouse
This is me getting a shot through one of the openings of the wall of the pumphouse by the lake at Harrison Hot Springs. They apparently pump water from here to several springs and pools around the resort. Me, I just think it looks like a BioShock level in there. Taken on July 5, 2013.
