Log Date: 11/12/95 Log Intro: Most of the Willowholt has returned from the Festival of Flood and Flower -- and shortly before them, Simmel, son of Dawn and Zalen, returned to the Holt from his soulname quest. But Rillwhisper, after the experiences her tribe had with the Gliders in Sorrow's End, and having had Jasmael express the intention to go to Blue Mountain to seek her lifemate Gerren, feels the tribe must speak of these things, and so she calls the Willowholt to council.... Council Attendees: Zalen, Dawn, Simmel, NewHope, Rillwhisper, Woodhawk, NightDancer, Jasmael, Silversong, Trollkiller, Pwyll, Dusk [NOTE: I have left in OOC commentary and chat channel talk where it was relevant to the issues at hand.] ---------- Rillwhisper sends to the whole tribe ** Tribe... let's gather for council, please, in the clearing. it's time to speak of several things. ** Clearing by the Old Willow(#123RHJa) This clearing, last among the trees before the land changes slowly to marshes, is dominated by an impossibly massive willow tree. Much of the ancient tree is hidden by its ever-blowing fronds, which veil it and the entire clearing in quiet, green-grey shadows. The air holds a rich mix of scents: water and wood, elf-scent and wolf-scent, earth and the occasional whiff of fire. The fallen log by the tree, the quietly gurgling 'fountain' off to one side, the willow's gnarled roots, and even the soft earth underfoot encourage one to sit and sing or speak or send... or just to watch and listen. The entire area is tinged with a gentle, subtle sense of magic and age, centered upon the giant tree. Immediately to the northeast, overlooked by the mighty willow, lies a small pond; to the southeast, south, and west, paths to the Holt's more secluded parts; to the east, the distant marshes. All is quiet in the heat of the summer's day, as elves and wolves both keep to the cool shadows. Contents: NightDancer Zalen Dusk Dawn Jasmael(#2837PIJOXce) TailBiter Littlefang Winterdawn Obvious exits: Branch Old Willow Hillside Path Starwillow Copse Marsh Pond Woodhawk has arrived. Rillwhisper drops out of the branches, Woodhawk behind her, and smiles quietly at the lot of you as she looks to see who all has answered the summons, and who has come before she sent. Jasmael sits up from her perch on one branch, looking down. NightDancer settles down in a comfortable position, pulling out a stretch of leather from his ever-present pack. He will listen as he sews, his favorite way to think. Dawn grins to her Chief, and gathers her family around her. Silversong slips out onto the sentry branch, sitting down there. Simmel arrives from the side of the Old Willow. Simmel has arrived. NewHope arrives from the side of the Old Willow. NewHope has arrived. Simmel nods as he walks in Rillwhisper smiles to Simmel as she sees him, and waits for the rest of the tribe... NewHope spots the Jas, tackles the Jas, kisses the Jas. Woodhawk inclines his head affably to everyone, and particularly to Simmel. Jasmael giggles, bringing Newhope up onto her branch with her. ** Hi, lovemate. ** Simmel wanders in beside his parents NewHope smiles. *Hi there.* Zalen smiles up at Simmel and offers him a seat. Jasmael smiles at Newhope. Silversong smiles across the clearing at her daughter and her daughter's lovemate, before returning her gaze to Rill. Dawn tugs Simmel right in between her and Zalen! NewHope gets all comfortable with Jasmael. Simmel sits down and glances over at Newhope quickly NewHope glances back and smiles. Jasmael catches Simmel's glance, grinning over at him. NewHope looks up at Jasmael and blushes. Dawn looks at Simmel and NewHope, and smile approvingly. Then she snuggles closer to her mate. Jasmael raises twin eyebrows, looking at her lovemate. She smiles. ** Good. ** Zalen mms and dots Dawn's cheek with a kiss. NewHope giggles. Zalen would love to listen to sends about now. :) Simmel blinks as he looks at Jasmael and Newhope NightDancer chuckles at the youngesters, half watching his sewing, half watching his family. Rillwhisper chuckles lowly at the exchanges, looks around for Trollkiller, and hmms. "Fuzzy's napping... I'm sure he'll catch up. Shall we start?" Jasmael nods, kissing the to pof Newhope's head. Silversong nods in reply. ** Aye. ** Rillwhisper scans the circle of faces, looking for signs of consent or disagreement... Woodhawk nods easily to Rillwhisper, leaning against the Old Willow. Zalen says "Please, do." Simmel sends openly ** Go ahead, chieftess ** Dawn sends openly ** Yes, Chief! ** NightDancer nods quietly, smiling. Rillwhisper inclines her head. "Alright then. I have several things which I feel we need to discuss, after the happenings at the Festival of Flood and Flower. Most of you will have some awareness of these things already... but for those who stayed behind to guard the Holt, I wish your voices on these matters as well." Jasmael ruffles Newhope's hair, smiling at her, then turns to look at Rill. Rillwhisper paces a bit, looking at you all as she speaks. "The thing is... Blue Mountain has entered our lives again." Her nose wrinkles a bit. "The short form of the tale is that there were several Gliders at the Festival; one claimed to Jasmael that her mate Gerren has awakened from his rockshaping trance and is seeking her. Another, Sar, whom Jasmael has named as the one responsible for her separation from her mate and the death of her child, was present. I questioned Sar, to see what he had to say on the matter." Woodhawk nods gravely. "I witnessed this exchange." Dawn summons Dusk over to her, pulling the cub on her lap to stay quiet. Dusk has left. Dawn lifts Dusk. Silversong frowns in thought, listening. Rillwhisper goes on, "And what Sar said was this: he does not deny taking Jasmael out of the Mountain. However, he claims that he did not slay Jasmael's cub, and in fact, that within as little time as a season, he has seen the child alive." Jasmael sends openly ** He's lying. ** Rillwhisper looks to Jasmael, and points out, "He sent his claim to me, I should mention." NewHope blinks, hearing all this for the first time. NightDancer's eyebrows rise, and he folds the leathers in his lap a little, listening. Woodhawk glances at Jasmael himself, and offers gravely: "Also... he locksent to me. He said that... if I am the grandsire of the cub in question, that I should do my best to get the child out of the Mountain, as she does not belong there." Simmel leans back on his hands to listen Dawn looks gravely at Jasmael. Dawn sends openly ** Pwyll and Joy were in the Mountain, too. We got them out. ** Jasmael shakes her head, quietly. ** Then his memory is wrong. My daughter is dead. ** Woodhawk's eyes darken; he frowns a bit, but does not gainsay his daughter's words. Zalen says "We can discover what truth there is." Trollkiller emerges from the willow tree. Trollkiller has arrived. Pwyll has connected. Dawn grabs Pwyll too, pulling him into her little heap of family :) Woodhawk catches sight of Trollkiller's arrival out of the corner of his eye, and nods him over, to where he's leaning against the Old Willow's comfortable bulk. Simmel smiles and makes a spot for his brother Pwyll thumps down, rather unexpectedly, and unceremoniously, by his family. Trollkiller walks over beside Woodhawk, glancing over to Dawn (and Dusk?)... Dawn has Dusk on her lap, indeed, and Simmel, Pwyll and Zalen piled around her :) Rillwhisper inclines her head to Jasmael, from the center of the ring of elves. "Jasmael, you are the child's mother and should know if her spirit has passed on; if you're certain of it, we don't need to council on that, here. What I do want council on is what we can do to find out whether Gerren is indeed awake, and what to do about Sar." Zalen says "Why must we do anything about Sar?" Rillwhisper notes for general reference that Jasmael's child is NOT dead, but none of us know that, except that Sar and Ktai have both claimed the kid's alive. ;) We have no proof. Jasmael leans her cheek onto Newhope's head, not answering her send. Rillwhisper says simply, "That's what I'd like to settle. If we indeed must do anything. What do you all have to say?" NewHope snuggles into Jasmael. Zalen starts to speak but looks up at Jasmael with an uncertain expression. NightDancer speaks up quietly. "If the cub lives, then to me it seems that we should do nothing about this Sar. Heartache fades in time, when loved ones are restored." He smiles at Dawn, particularly, as he says this. Dawn sends openly ** Jasmael, what do you want us to do? ** Dawn smiles warmly to her father. Jasmael sends openly ** I need to find Gerren. That's all... ** Jasmael holds Newhope closer to her. NewHope sends openly ** Find him without sending her to the mountain alone. ** Simmel sits quietly and listens to everyone Woodhawk murmurs, "I think we've seen enough to know that any of us alone there is dangerous." Rillwhisper looks around for any further commentary. Trollkiller sits, trying to think. ** Gerrin... he's supposed to be where? ** Zalen says "The Mountain." Silversong speaks up, ** The Mountain is a place that can be deadly, in both spirit and body, to those who do not know it and the souls within. ** Jasmael nods. ** He woke there... ** Rillwhisper speaks up: "Sar said nothing to me about Gerren's location. Jasmael, did the other Glider mention this? Do you know if Gerren is still there?" Zalen says "Do we want to further aggrivate those of the Mountain by demanding more of them?" Trollkiller hms. ** Do you think he wants to see you? Gerren, I mean? ** Jasmael shakes her head. ** But I don't know of anywhere else where he might be. ** Zalen says "Father and I lived in a cave for many years." Zalen says "It overlooked Blue Mountain." Trollkiller sends, ** Hm. Would he be the type to come see you if he wanted to see you? ** Dawn sends openly ** Then maybe we should go to the Mountain. And find out. ** Jasmael shakes her head to Trollkiller. ** No... Gerren is terrifed of the Outside world... he would stay there. ** Simmel blinks and looks at his mother Pwyll stays silent, just listening. Rillwhisper inclines her head to Zalen. "For all of me, we can leave the Mountain to itself. I know that... Lostholt finds this Sar troublesome. Ember, Cutter's daughter, has Recognized him -- but she seems to have been willing to be with him, for she asked me if she could listen as I spoke with him. I also know Strongbow doesn't trust him, but then, Strongbow doesn't trust anybody that lives in the Mountain." Zalen says "Silversong is right. It's dangerous to go to the Mountain for those who don't understand it." Silversong nods, echoing her daughter's statement. ** Gerren could never handle being Outside of the Mountain. The wolves' calls themselves frightened him beyond measure. ** Rillwhisper whistles benignly. Of course, Gerren IS outside, but we don't know that either... Jasmael sends openly ** I've lived there, in the Mountain. I know it. ** You say "Jasmael. What trouble is this Sar likely to give you if you go to the Mountain?" Dawn frowns a little at Zalen. Jasmael sends openly ** I don't think he will, with Grandmother present. If she's not there... Sar is uncontrollable at best. ** Rillwhisper also needs to warn everyone that we do NOT have an active Winnowill at the moment; I don't know when the wizards will be assigning her a new player. The lack of a Winnowill is bound to give us problems in a Willowholt visit to the Mountain; I'm not sure whether we can do it effectively without her. FYI. Trollkiller hrms, and tries to think. He leans back against Woodhawk. Rillwhisper considers this, frowning softly to herself. "Of course... Sar took you when she was in the Mountain," she notes. "It would seem to me that he felt passionately enough about this, to do it under Winnowill's nose." Zalen says "Decide whether we need to go, then plan on the problems." Zalen looks quietly at his Chief. Dawn nods to Zalen, nuzzling him briefly. Jasmael sends openly ** I'm going. The question is whether or not anyone else will be going with me. ** Jasmael sends openly ** I *must* find Gerren. ** Rillwhisper nods solemnly to Zalen. "Aye." Her green gaze shifts back to Jasmael. "I... won't tell you not to go. If it were me and one of my mates, I'd go. The question will be, indeed, who goes with." Zalen says "What will you do when you get there?" Rillwhisper ahs, and has a report from the wizards: "by next week. for a winnowill. One audition is done, one to do on Tuesday." Trollkiller looks like he was about to send something, but doesn't. NewHope sends openly ** I'm going to go with you if you go. ** Simmel sends openly ** I'll go with you, Jasmael.. ** Dawn sends openly ** I would go, if Zalen does. ** Jasmael squeezes Newhope close to her. Pwyll looks about to send as well, then casts a look at mother, father, and brother. Eyebrows arching at Simmel and Dawn's announcements, he sends, ** I'll go. ** Simmel looks up at his brother Zalen says "You don't have to go, Pwyll." Zalen reaches over and takes his son's hand. "You've gone through much with them already." Rillwhisper watches almost everyone in the circle pipe up; at Pwyll's sending, she quirks an eyebrow, her expression rather speaking the same things the young elf's relations are, but she lets the others speak her own sentiment as she listens. NewHope snuggles into Jasmael. Woodhawk looks at his daughter, and says softly, "I'd go, if I were welcome." Trollkiller looks back at Woodhawk. ** ?! ** Jasmael nods quietly. ** I won't stop anyone from coming with me. ** Pwyll's eyes wander the circle, settling on his father last. He nods. ** I'll go. ** Zalen says "This is silly." Trollkiller agrees with Zalen. ** This is too many just to go ask something! ** Zalen says "What are we going to do? Go to the Mountain and ask if they've seen him." Silversong shakes her head. ** I'll remain here. I do not think I can stand up to Mother again, this soon... ** Rillwhisper abruptly laughs, but gently. "No," she says, "this is Tribe. Which pleases me. I'd be disappointed if we all were not willing to go. But. We can't ALL go; some of us must guard the Holt." Jasmael looks with concern over at her mother, but seems to understand for some reason. Dawn looks at Dusk. ** Then I can stay..with Dusk. ** NightDancer speaks softly again. "I will stay, as well, unless there is some particular need for an old tanner." He smiles. Trollkiller looks at Woodhawk, some concern over a possible decision. Rillwhisper continues, "I believe Jasmael will need some support, but the group must be small and able to quickly travel. They must be ones who are able to work their way through the tangled weave the Mountain folk like to call their logic. If it omes to it, I'd like a fighter or two with her, for defense. Though I believe we all aren't eager to get into a scrape with the Mountain dwellers." Dawn looks gravely to Pwyll. ** Cub..the Mountain might not be the best place for you. ** Zalen looks again to Jasmael. "How will you ask? /Who/ will you ask? Jasmael shakes her head. ** I won't know til I get there. ** Jasmael begins to quietly smile. ** Perhaps Shootingstar still knows me... ** Rillwhisper nods to Dawn and NightDancer, walking noiselessly about as she peers at each face. She nods also to Silversong, and then regards Woodhawk. "Beloved," she tells him, "I'd rather you not be there if there's not a healer in the group. Winnowill finds you too tasty a morsel -- and besides, Swiftrunner's on his last legs, unless I miss my guess. You run swiftly, fire-hawk, but I don't think you can keep up on foot." Woodhawk blushes, but nods, once. "Aye, chieftess," he murmurs, and then flashes an apologetic glance to Jasmael. Jasmael nods quietly to her father. Rillwhisper turns round to Jasmael, something suddenly occurring to her. "Wait... one of the Gliders at the Festival was Door. If she's awake... how will you get in?" NightDancer locksends ** I will go, gladly, chieftess, if you think there might be need of me. An older head, perhaps... ** Pwyll scowls faintly. Trollkiller sends, ** Maybe the've opened up a little, let some air in there, at last... ** Jasmael sends openly ** Gerren is a shaper, too... he would allow me in. ** NewHope giggles. Zalen says "Ha." Dawn sends openly ** Flying in. With Zalen. ** You say "And furthermore... that's something else that's important, that I should share with you all. The number of Gliders _at_ the Festival. Strongbow told me something..." Rillwhisper holds up a hand, requesting silence. Zalen laughs a bit. Zalen goes off to... well, what gliders do when they're alone. NightDancer looks up quietly. Jasmael nods to Dawn. ** That's true as well. ** You say "Strongbow told me that Viresse -- the same one who came here, hunting Gliders before -- went to Lostholt, too. And he sent with her. And what he learned was this: many Gliders actually have _fought_ with Winnowill, lately." Jasmael blinks, her eyes widening. ** Fought? ** Silversong smiles, at the mention of her long-time friend. Dawn looks thoughtfully at Pwyll. Rillwhisper nods, levelly. "Strongbow sent of a fight... and of several Gliders fleeing the Mountain afterwards, and Viresse hunting them. That's a thing we all should be aware of, if any of us go to the Mountain. I saw at least two hands of Gliders in Sorrow's End -- I wonder how many are left, and what mood Winnowill is in." Trollkiller looks disgruntled at something. Jasmael sends openly ** Gerren... might not be allowed to leave the Mountin. ** Dawn smiles quietly to Trollkiller. Dawn snuggles Pwyll and Simmel escpecialy, and, um, goes quiet :) Littlefang curls up and falls asleep. You say "He might not. And would, Jasmael, you be permitted to leave either, if you entered? That's what worries me. When she was here before, Winnowill wanted Glider blood... and magics... back in the Mountain, and wasn't above mucking with heads to get it." Trollkiller nods. Woodhawk says gravely, "And we know you have my magic now, cub." You say "If at least an eight of her Gliders have left -- for that matter, at least one of them was a Chosen, because I saw Rayek fly in on a bond-bird -- how much more anxious must she be, to keep Glider blood and magic in the Mountain, now?" Jasmael nods. ** Grandmother knows too, father... the first sign of the magic almost burned her badly. ** Pwyll looks over at Simmel, silently. Rillwhisper frowns, paces. "I don't like this, the more I think about it. Jasmael... I know how you feel, High Ones know I fretted the same way when Tash took Woodhawk. But we need to do this in a way to keep any of us that go from getting our heads mucked with. Give me your ideas, tribe?" Woodhawk notes, "Send rosecherry with whoever goes. Lots of it. Anything else Sweetleaf and Chitter can come up with to keep heads clear, too." NightDancer looks up from his leathers once more. "I have no magics that this chieftess of the Mountain would want, and I'm an old enough wolf to have gotten out of more than a few traps." You sense in a locksend, NewHope adds, quietly, trying not to disturb you too much. *Whatever you decide, can I go with her? Please?* Jasmael sends openly ** I know, Rillwhisper... but I *must* find him... just as you would find Woodhawk, in the same situation. ** Trollkiller sends, ** I can't have anything they'd want, either - the thing I do best is send, and that's not rare. And they don't want wolflings. ** Rillwhisper nods to NightDancer and Trollkiller; Woodhawk brightens a little at Trollkiller, though the older firestarter's expression rather suggests he isn't sure whether to be embarrassed or relieved that Trollkiller has offered to go in his stead. Trollkiller doesn't look real thrilled at the prospect, though. Rillwhisper studies Jasmael gently. "Who would you choose to go with you?" You locksend ** Lass... I can't tell you whether to go or not... you're not one of mine. But it's good of you to offer. ** to NewHope. Pwyll pipes up, determinedly, and with a tinge of embarrassment. ** I can't even fly, chieftess. But I'm quick.. ** Simmel sends openly ** None of the Gliders have memories of me. The fewer suspicions, the better... ** Jasmael sends openly ** If I had the choice, Rillwhisper, I would go alone, to keep the danger to only one. You know that already. ** Trollkiller shakes his head. ** No no no no no no no. ** NewHope elbows Jasmael. Rillwhisper nods earnestly to Dawn and Zalen's sons, as she waits for Jasmael's answer. When Jasmael gives it, she sends back, ** I'll have to ask you as chieftess to not go alone -- I think the danger's greater for you alone than with others to help you. ** She softens that a little, then, as she adds, ** Who do you feel can help you best? ** Simmel looks at Pwyll, a disapproving frown showing Jasmael sends openly ** I don't think that the Gliders will allow anyone but Zalen and I into the Mountain... if even that, Rill. ** Trollkiller grimices. Simmel looks up to Jasmael ** What about Zalen's sons? ** Jasmael smiles at her uncle. Jasmael sends openly ** I don't think I can keep Newhope from coming though, and so I'd need someone to take care of her as well... right, Trollkiller? ** Pwyll looks at Jasmael as well. Trollkiller breathes deeply, like he's bracing himself. ** Right. ** Jasmael looks at Simmel. ** Perhaps yourself... but Pwyll... I remember the troubles you had with pulling away from your own grandmother... I wouldn't want to put you through that again. ** Rillwhisper studies Simmel and Pwyll, thinking -- the first has only just returned, must he be asked to go on a possibly dangerous jaunt? And the latter... should he really be asked to face Milani again? Simmel nods to his brother Rillwhisper does not speak, though, not yet, waiting to see how her tribesmates resolve this. Jasmael sends openly ** I wish Joy were here... I would ask her to come, as well. ** Simmel stares and shakes his head at Jasmael ** No, she should stay here ** Pwyll frowns more deeply. ** If Simmel goes, then /I'm/ going. He can't go in there alone. It's worse with them if we go alone. ** At that announcement, he shakes his head. ** They hurt Joy last time. ** Rillwhisper puts in, "I would be inclined to agree, but I think Joy ought to be able to give her own say on it. Besides, Simmel..." She glances at the red-haired young elf. "I'm also inclined to wonder whether she wouldn't try to follow you, if you went without her. She's missed you." Trollkiller looks dubious at the whole Simmel/Joy/Pwyll thing. Woodhawk says "If Joy goes... then by all means, send the rosecherry." Jasmael nods silently. Simmel looks at his brother ** Pwyll, you should stay here with Joy so she doesn't try to follow. You should both stay away from that place ** Jasmael doesn't reply to Newhope's sending, holding her tightly. You say "I will say this, though. Simmel and Pwyll, if you go I suspect I'd have to wrapstuff Joy to keep her from going as well. And I'd be very worried about how tasty a morsel all three of you together would be to your grand-dam, not to mention Winnowill herself. I will also say this... I'd ask that Trollkiller and NightDancer do go, to provide a balance. Not for us -- because I like to believe, and hope you all do as well, that we are one tribe and don't need to worry about whose blood is what -- but for the Gliders of the Mountain." Woodhawk nods to his chieftess's words, eyes dark, a bit glittering. Simmel nods in agreement with Rill Pwyll tucks his arms across his chest, still scowling at the way the words go. ** Then you shouldn't go at all either, Simmel. You're no different than Joy and I. ** NightDancer looks up quietly, and nods. Simmel looks at Pwyll and sighs Jasmael nods quietly. ** Myself, Newhope, Zalen, Trollkiller, Nightdancer, and Simmel. ** Rillwhisper, as Jasmael makes her statement on who she wishes to go with her, glances about the circle to see if there are any objections. "Can this sit well with you all?" Zalen looks at Nightdancer. "You decided to go after all?" NewHope smiles up at Jasmael. Zalen says "I don't feel comfortable with Simmel going. But," he glances at his son, "I will not object." Simmel nods to Rill and then at his father and brother Woodhawk reaches over and hugs Trollkiller one-armedly. Pwyll climbs to his feet, and sends simply, ** I'm going to hunt. ** NightDancer nods slowly at Zalen. ** An old head, with no magics...I hope I will be helpful. ** Pwyll sets off up the path to the marshes. Pwyll has left. Simmel stands up and reaches after his brother, but stops and frowns, looking back at his parents Trollkiller sends, ** Me too. Well... ** He pulls out is trollsword in a rare display of his - rather extensive - prowress with it ** If nothing else, I can promise that I can bash thing, if it needs it. ** Jasmael nods. Rillwhisper glances after Pwyll, frowns a bit worriedly, then looks back at you all. "Alright, then. I shall trust you all to do what's needed to be done, and to stick together and guard one another. Ask Sweetleaf and Chitter for whatever they can provide to keep your heads clear...." She smiles, still concernedly. Jasmael giggles softly, kissing the top of Newhope's head, drawing her close again. [OOC] Rillwhisper goes OOC briefly to ask y'all to also do a few things for her. :) NewHope winks at Simmel. NewHope looks up at Jasmael, kissing the underside of her chin. [OOC] Rillwhisper wants that y'all should notify the Mountainfolks properly as to who's coming... let them know what to expect. Also, let ME know when exactly y'all go so I can relay your departure appropriately to everyone who stays... and, I'd appreciate updates on significant things that happen for the timeline. End of OOCness. :) Jasmael hugs Newhope close to her.. [OOC] Jasmael noddles. [OOC] Zalen elects Jasmael to do all the telling. Rillwhisper pulls in a breath, and asks you all, "So... it sounds to me that council is done on this thing. Does anyone else have anything to say about this matter?" [OOC] Jasmael will tell, but needs a good time for it. Zalen looks to be concentrating, eyes slitted and unfocused. Woodhawk gives a bit of a quirky grin, and ventures towards Jasmael. "I do..." Hopefully, he opens his arms to her. "Travel well, daughter... and come home to us...?" Trollkiller thinks, and comes up empty. [OOC] Trollkiller requests that people do let him know when stuff happens, so he can be online for it. And remember that he's on the west coast, but _does_ have work access. [OOC] Zalen is in Eastern, and doesn't have work access. [OOC] Rillwhisper harps on the usefulness of the Willowholt mailing list for relaying of plot details. :) Also +mail. [OOC] Zalen says, "For those on it." [OOC] Rillwhisper nods, aye. NewHope sends openly ** Don't worry, Woodhawk. I'll make sure she gets back. ** Jasmael hops down from her branch, going over and hugging Woodhawk tightly. ** I will. ** Rillwhisper smiles to Woodhawk, while studying the rest of the elves in the circle. Hearing no further comments on the impending journey, she asks, "Does anyone have anything else on which they wish the tribe to council?" Simmel glances over at Newhope and Jasmael Zalen frowns in concentration, reaching to the ground to steady him. Simmel blinks "Father?" and steps over to Zalen Trollkiller looks at Zalen. ** Huh? ** Woodhawk embraces his cub firmly, then releases her when she is ready, and returns his attention to his chieftess. Zalen notes to all that he's not on the mailing list. Rillwhisper says "A valid note; please to make sure that plot details are relayed properly in +mail, as well as on email." Zalen looks up, feeling the heavy silence. His large crystal eyes reflect uncertainty. Simmel looks at his father and then looks up at Rill Zalen says "Oh. Um," he says bashfully. "What was said?" Zalen says to Simmel quietly, "I was sending." Rillwhisper smiles to Zalen, and notes, "I have asked if anyone else has things to be said in the council." Zalen says "Oh. No. If things are decided, then they are decided." Rillwhisper turns and smiles to you all, and nods, then. "Alright... I say now that the council is ended. I will close by saying this: that now that Simmel has returned to us, I'd like to have a Howl to honor his return." NightDancer smiles and nods. Trollkiller nods. ** Yes! Much more fun. ** Simmel looks up and beams Zalen chuckles. You say "I would like you all to think about when you'd like to Howl... before or after the journey to Blue Mountain. What says the tribe?" Woodhawk grins. "Before, I'd say, unless those going need a Howl to relax when they get back." Zalen says "Howls are relaxing?" Woodhawk's grin widens, as Rillwhisper chuckles. Trollkiller sends, ** I think I'll need more relaxing before I go than after... ** Simmel shrugs indiferently Trollkiller sends, ** But we should also go as soon as possible. Jasmael giggles, at Zalen's statement. Zalen asks again, "How are Howls relaxing?" Zalen leans back on his arms and looks curious. Simmel thinks and then smiles "Dreamberries!" Trollkiller giggles at Zalen. ** Ah, Zalen, you can't relax at _anything_... much... ** Zalen sticks his tongue out at Trollkiller. "I can." Trollkiller beeeeee!s at Zalen. ** Show me. ** Rillwhisper smiles... and holds up a hand. "It need not be decided now. I call the council closed... but let me know, soon, when you all wish to Howl." (Via +mail, even. :) ) [End log.]
