Synopsis-
From Shannon’s perspective:
Shannon had recently made a job offer to a promising young man to
become one of SubPro’s newest Pilots. This promising young man
being none other then Han Solo himself. Shannon is unaware of
just who he is and finds herself being drawn into the trouble
that seems to follow Han wherever he goes. And so the story
unfolds.....
=================================================================

(KOS) Level 4 -Concourse-
The main concourse of the KOS is the busiest part of the
station. Wider than the rest of the station, this level is nearly
half a mile in diameter. The center of the concourse is domed
upward, with the turbolift tube rising up through the center.
Spacers, traders, technicians and guards of countless races
bustle through the concourse.
Currently, sounds can be heard coming from the west, as if
huge machinery was being brought to bare. An access panel leads
off in that direction, and occasionally, crewmen, wearing
anything from overalls to full vacuuum suits, can be seen coming
and going.

Shannon stands looking rather perplexed at the ATM, she shakes
her head and waggles her finger at it softly speaking to it, like
its going to understand her right? She happens to glance to the
side and notice Han from the crowd, her face reddens as she turns
to glance down at the finger she had up, realizing just how silly
she must of looked.

Han_Solo comes striding out of the eastern stretches of the
station, frowning intently, his stance and expression alert. The
Corellian's aiming, it would seem, for the northern concourse
now.

Shannon quickly retracts her hands down to her side and retrieves
her card from the machine. An urgent need to find out if Mr. Solo
had considered her offer any further or not, she pursues him. She
calls out, "Mr. Solo, excuse me, Mr. Solo?"

The pilot slows and turns at the sound of his name, and for the
briefest of instants, hazel eyes flick in all directions -- as if
he might, just might, be wary of his name being shouted in a
public arena. But Han Solo seems perfectly relaxed by the time
he's approached, and he flicks a lopsided smile at the woman,
letting her catch up. "Hiya, sweetheart. Lookin' for me?"

Shannon gives a soft laugh as she half runs/walks to catch up to
this rugged image of a man. A bit breathless she composes herself
as best as she can manage, she gives him a smile that relays that
of great relief at having run into him. She nods, her eyes
gleeming with a refreshing intelligence behind them, "Yes... as a
matter of fact I was hoping to catch up to you before you left".
She brings her hand up to her chest and takes in a deep breath
then exhales, "You're a difficult man to locate it appears."

Whether rugged or simply comfortably disheveled, Solo smiles
narrowly, though his tone is amiable enough as he drawls his
reply. "I like to keep a low profile." Which helps keep his head
from getting shot off, but Shannon Dellious doesn't need to know
that.

Shannon thinks it a bit odd that a merchant wishes to remain
inconspicuous, but the thought lasts for a fleeting moment before
in vanishes. More important matters need tending to like that of
which she asks, "I don't suppose you have considered my offer to
come work for SubPro?" she cocks her head slightly and pours on
that charming smile, "You know it's the best offer in the galaxy,
any man would be hard pressed to resist an offer such as mine?"
she blinks a few times to emphasize the charm she believes she
holds upon the man.

The Corellian flicks a brief glance northward, a very subtle
tension in his manner, though as before, his voice remains
amiable. "Been up nights over it," he promises extravagantly, "in
between my, ah, other business."

Shannon seems to stand a bit taller, yes, she's got herself a new
pilot, or so she thinks. She smiles in a most pleased manner,
"Then it's settled. I'm sure you won't be disappointed SubPro has
many fine opportunities for an enterprising man of your stature.
Why I'd say given a couple years, you just may be on your road to
being the wealthiest man in the galaxy" she says as she brushes
off what looks to be a spot of lint upon his shoulder. She brings
her hand down and clasps them both behind her and asks
expectantly, "How soon can you start?"

As the doors to the Turbolift slide open, out steps the large
form of the stations only Horansi Marine, Kuxli. With ears at
once perking to bustle of noise around him, his eyes flicker
about in a brief scan. Seeing all is it should be, he straightens
his back, head tilting back as he begins a slow patrol.

Hazel eyes blink -- wait a minute, does she think he just...?
_Never mind,_ Solo tells himself, casting another tense glance
over his shoulde, off to the north. When he looks back, it's with
his best large lopsided grin as he drawls, "Uh... why don't we
talk about that in a little bit, darlin'? I've got some...
business to take care of, in the meantime. If you'll excuse
me...?"

Shannon furrows her brow slightly at the reaction, thinking this
man would be grateful to be working for SubPro and yet he's
distracted? She simply nods keeping her smile upon her lips, "Yes
fine, I hope it won't take to long". A light goes on inside of
her head, she's determined to have this man start as soon as
possible. She snaps her fingers, "Course I could accompany you
and discuss it along the way, that is of course if you wouldn't
mind the company. I was just on my way to the Cantina for my
midday meal".

Come... with? For just an instant, there's a trace of reluctance
in the Corellian's rugged features, before he once more turns
amiably bland of expression. Maybe the tip he got won't pay off
-- after all, he hasn't been able to dig up any sign of the
Rodians, _yet_... Solo flashes another lopsided smile at the
aggressive Miss Dellious, and says, "Well, ah, far be it from me
to keep you from your lunch. Just headed that way myself."

_And let's just -hope- I know what I'm doin'. Sure I know what
I'm doin', I -always- know what I'm doin'..._ Bracing himself
with these stern reminders, Solo gestures ahead to let the lady
precede him.

Shannon smiles gratefully as she nods to him, "Good good, there's
several details I'm certain you will want to be cleared away
before you start your new position with SubPro..." she babbles on
about pay rates, benefits, and expectations as she walks along
towards the northern corridor.

Han_Solo heads into the northern concourse.

You enter the wide, busy concourse.

(KOS) Level 4 -Northern Concourse-
You stand in the middle of a long corridor reaching from the
center of the station out to the outer edge. Along the corridor a
variety of businesses have shops open and flashy signs trying to
draw you into their interiors.

The Corellian keeps a step behind Shannon, en route to the Blue
Nebula, though once they arrive, he plasters on another lopsided
smile and thumbs the door open for her.

Shannon smiles as she continues on without stopping as to how
good it is to have him working with SubPro and how much she
thinks he will enjoy it as she steps through the opened door into
the Cantina.

You open the door to the Blue Nebula and walk in.

(KOS) Level 4 -Blue Nebula Cantina-
The Blue Nebula Cantina is a small, smoky bar. Catering
mainly to the traders and spacers who visit the station, the Blue
Nebula is known for a few of its unique beverages. Even the
occasional resident will wander in looking for a drink and
perhaps a little conversation.

Near the Dark Booth, three Rodian's stand. Each one brandishing
sporting blasters and each aiming at a creature near the bar.
Saul is that creature, standing near another Rodian who is
slightly convulsing on the ground at Saul's feet.

Shannon walks in just before Han babbling on about SubPro's
advandages for it's employees not really paying much heed to
what's going on inside the Cantina at the moment. She's got her a
new pilot after all.

Entering the establishment, Solo nods in bland-faced
acknowledgement of his companion's babbling, casting a look
around as he does. His expression transforms, however, the moment
he catches sight of not one, not two, not three, but _four_
Rodians in the place, and his hand immediately goes to the
blaster at his thigh. Looks like that tip was good, after all.
"Get down!" he barks at the woman who's just come in with him.

Shannon turns at the sudden outburst of the man whom she though
her newest employee, she blinks slightly and realizes he has a
blaster in his hand and is pointing it behind her. Her eyes go
wide as she turns around and for the first time takes note of the
Rodians brandishing thiers. She jumps and dodges down behind a
chair nearby, with the exclamtion, "I don't want to die!"

Like a Tusken standoff on Tatooine, the small group of Rodians
waim carefully at Saul. Everyone else in the cantina has piled
out by this point, but two people just entered, which catch's one
Rodian's eye. He turns to see none other than the human they are
here for, no middle men to intimidate or bribe to get this one.
He yells something in Rodian prompting both of his compainions to
turn to look at Solo, slowly turning thier blasters to face him.
Back at the bar, Crystal nonchelantly says, "For pete's sake.
Third time this week." she and her co-workers then duck down
below the bar. Saul, for his bit reaches behind his back.
Untucking the back of his shirt and reaching up he grabs the
handle of his weapon there and begins to wield it with a few
clicks as it extends to it's full length and width.

Saul unconceals a Bowcaster

Han_Solo readies a DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol

His weapon pointed unwaveringly at the trio at the back of the
bar, Solo puts on a huge, feral grin, looking paradoxically
mightily pleased. "You boys finally found my holo, huh?" he
drawls.

Shannon scrambling on all fours, most unbecoming of this woman
but it's her life at stake here, she finds herself crawling for
better cover. She calls back over her shoulder, "I certainly hope
you aren't expecting to be paid to be a bodygaurd too Mr. Solo".
She suddenly breaks and nail and mutters a curse as she stops to
suck on it briefly before resuming her unladylike crawling upon
the floor.

The taller of the three standing Rodians yells out to Solo in
Rodian, "Solo. We've been looking for you." Meanwhile Saul primes
his weapon, still hiding it behind his back.

"I said get down, sweetheart!" Solo barks back to Shannon, not
even bothering to check her location, his attention riveted on
the trio of aliens. Then, grinning once more, the Corellian
drawls back, "I'll just bet you have." His blaster flares out
with a line of red, and the Rodian in the back of the pack
suddenly goes down, his shoulder steaming. Solo doesn't even bat
an eye as he adds, "Who's next?"

The other two Rodians, slightly caught off guard by the sudden
attack return fire. Small segments of a red and yelow beam fire
towards Solo. One impacting just before his foot the other
sailing past his left shoulder impacting on the door behind him.
After the first barage is complete, Saul pulls his weapon from
his back and fires two shots at the Rodians. One flys past the
taller of the three, the other bolt hits the third Rodian in the
hand as he is about to fire a second shot at Solo. He screams a
curse in Rodian as he drops his gun, two of his fingers welded to
it.

Shannon peeks her head over a toppled table just as the blaster
fire is shot off and a Rodian man falls. She quickly ducks back
down behind the table and yells out, "Why are these criminals
looking for you Mr. Solo?" she calls out in an almost panicked
voice, one that's not used to being caught in the middle of a
firefight..

Solo crouches just in time to prevent his favorite blue jacket
from getting blaster-scorched, and hollers back to Shannon, "Long
story, sweetheart!" As Saul takes down the third of their
opponents, he takes aim on the remaining one...

The last Rodian standing watches as his fellow on the right is
hit in the shoulder and his fellow on the left is hit in the
hand. He realizes then in a moment of pause that he's not going
to be able to get out of this with Solo. His only choice is to
kill him. He then fires a shot, aimed carefully, right towards
his prey. A moment pauses as the bolt flys before the last Rodian
is hit on the upper left theigh, then again in the torso. He flys
back as the camera pans towards the speeding bolt heading towards
Solo.

Shannon mutters a few things about here she is a CEO of a well to
do company crawling around in.....what was that her hand just
landed in? She pulls her hand slowly up and glances at it,
scrunching her nose in discust, she desperately tries to shake it
off, wipe it off, anything to get this nasty stuff off her hand.
Who cares if blasters are going off around her. A bit revolted by
having to crawl on her hands and feet around upon this most
disgusting floor, she mutters out, "It better be a good one Mr.
Solo. I'll not having one of my employees endangering SubPro or
any of it's employees by some of his business transactions". She
pokes her head over and gestures, "You call that business?" Her
eyes go wide just as a blaster shot comes remarkably close to her
location. She darts back behind the table and pants.

The Blue Nebula, at the moment, is in chaos. Several tables are
overturned, and there is a Rodian on the floor by the bar, two
more writhing near the back. As the fourth fires off his shot,
the Corellian crouching by the door -- his target -- staggers
back, his side smoking now, and with his teeth clenched, he
whirls and darts out the door. "You want me, you're gonna hafta
catch me!"

Han_Solo has left.

Saul lowers his bowcaster as the last Rodian goes down. He yells
back to whoever hears him, "Call security." he then pauses as he
takes a step over the Rodian in front of him he wonders inwardly
what is going on, then decides on one person who can answer that.
He makes his way around a few tables heading towards the door.

Shannon hears the final words of Mr. Solo and watches as the door
opens and he disappears. She cries out, "WHAT??" how dare he
leave her in the midst of a bunch of criminal ruffians. Who's
suppose to be protecting her after all? Hearing someone yelling
about security, she murmors something along the lines, 'yes
please do' before she gathers herself up from off the floor ready
to flee from the scene if need be.

As Crystal works her comlink calling security, Saul makes his way
to the door. Out of the corner of his eye he spots Shannon
crawling on the floor. He says to her, "You can get up now." in a
monotone, bass voice. He then exits in his search of Solo.

Saul walks out of the cantina.

Shannon glances up at the man as he addresses her, a sigh of
disgust comes from her lips as she raises herself up from the
toppled tables and chairs lying about. Attempting to brush off
her clothing from the slime and grime of the floor. Walkind
towards the door she follows the man out, "I think Mr. Solo has
some explainations to give if he thinks he's going to be a part
of th is company."

(KOS) Level 3 -Residential Level-
As you enter this well lit area you find yourself in a huge
atrium. Many people walk about on this busy but not overly
crowded area. This central level like many of the larger levels
of the station stems off in four directions with the turbolift in
the center. To the East a large medical bay can be seen. To the
South an archway leads to Darsopan South Residence. This along
with the Darsopan North Residence is where most of the station's
populace lives. A walkway to the West leads to the KOS Gardens.

Lughat walks off towards the KOS Gardens.

Saul is running towards the Gardens...

Walking rapidly out from the turbolift is the armored form of
Kuxli, a scowl set on his furred face, though his weapons remain
slung, heading for the gardens.

Shannon can't believe the events she just witnessed. She spots
the man Saul and notes him to be running towards the garden, she
thinks oO (It's got to be that Mr. Solo. He's got some things to
answer for). She redirects her steps from heading to her
apartment to change clothes towards the garden, knowing full well
she seems to be making a fool of herself, over what? This man?
Why on earth is she even pursuing him to be an employee of her
company. Odd, people come to her for a job, not the other way
around?

(KOS) Level 3 -KOS Gardens-
The beautiful KOS Gardens take up a large portion of this
level of the station. Meant to be an escape from the rest of the
metallic industrial station, the gardens provide a relaxing place
for the residents of the station to gather. Trees and flowering
plants from Caspar grow in neat, tidy patterns in the center of
the gardens, surrounded by benches, is the KOS fountain. Made
of a tangled web of transparisteel tubing, gases from the surface
are pumped through and lit from strategic angles, creating an
absolutely stunning effect that has never been reproduced
elsewhere.
Gardners are busy cleaning up the mess of blasted plants and
torn up vegetation.

Lughat takes on a hunter' stance

(SKILL) Han_Solo rolls a 23 for his HIDE skill. An Excellent roll!

(SKILL) Lughat rolls a 17 for his SEARCH skill. A Good roll!

(SKILL) Saul rolls a 17 for his PERCEPTION skill. A Good roll!

(SKILL) Shannon rolls a 20 for her SEARCH skill. A Good roll!

(SKILL) Kuxli rolls a 8 for his SEARCH skill. A Poor roll!

Saul makes his way to the small path on the south end of the
garden. The path he usualy uses to take him to a secluded place
in the gardens where he practicies. It is one of the best hiding
places in the gardens, he thinks to himself, if the Rodian is
hiding there's a good place to start looking.

Swearing curses to himself in six different languages, Han Solo,
huddled down in as tiny a ball as he can make of himself in a
tangle of vegetation and ducts, keeps his teeth gritted tight
against his smarting side. Sweat is beading his brow... but
hidden as he is, that can't be seen. With narrowed eyes, he
squints out from his hiding place, trying to see any signs of
pursuit.

Kuxli glances between him once at the sound of footsteps, and
only having been given vague details of what has happened, slides
his weapon off from his shoulder, into his ready paw. "Halt
there!" he yells out to Saul, who's wielding the Bowcaster. "What
are you doing with that thing and searching about here?!"

Lughat bounds gracefully down a path and into the flora, His skin
blending in with it. He scans the the gardens with all his senses
trying to find Solo and curious as to who is the real danger

Shannon storms into the garden area, her clothing looking a bit
dishevelled. Her face a mask of determination to discover just
why one of her employees has people gunning after him. She
glances around taking in the situation, yet looking for that all
too familiar blue jacket. She thinks she spots something and
calls out, "Mr. Solo, would you please tell me what you have to
do with what happened back there. I'll not be crawling on my
hands and knees in a bunch of goo and not have an explanation for
it! Mr. Solo?" she calls out as she peers into the vegetation.

_Dammit to the nine hells, does she -still- think I'm workin' for
her?!_ Solo rolls his eyes in the dubious refuge of his hiding
place, willing himself to Keep Still Dammit, ears straining. He
can hear sounds of others in the gardens beside the woman, and he
isn't about to move, not till he gets an idea of who's in
pursuit.

Saul walks down the small path, virtually ignoring Kuxli's words
as he dissapears within the bush. He walks crouched with his
weapon following his eyes as if they were one looking not for a
blue jacket, but green skin.

Kuxli lets out a low warning of a growl as his questions are
ignored. He starts to follow, but is distracted at Shannon's
words. He blinks at the mention of Solo, then mutters a Horansi
curse... the sounds of beings crashing through the plants reach
him next, his scowl growing deeper. He simply raises his blaster
into the air, aiming it upwards. "If EVERY last one of you does
not come out of the plants at ONCE I will throw you in the brig
myself and EAT the key!"

Lughat remebers the story in the news and heads t towards the
fountain.

Shannon sighs, still determined to get her answer, she doesn't
seem too aware of the others brandishing thier weapons. She takes
a few steps closer to the vegetation where she thought she saw
the glimsp of the jacket, "Would you be a man and come out her
and explain yourself. Why in heavons name are you sitting there
hiding in the bush like that?" She flinches at Kuxli's bellow,
she drops to the ground and curses once again at getting her
already fithy clothing even more soiled. She just so happens to
of landed mighty close to Hans position.

A Horansi bellowing at the top of his lungs is hardly something
you can miss. Solo presses his eyes shut, half in exasperation,
half in trying to convince himself his scorched side doesn't
ache. As Shannon goes down, he stiffens -- _hells, she spotted
me? How the--never mind!_ -- and holds his position, waiting,
just waiting, to see if she happens to look exactly the right
way.

Saul only hears "Every...Once... Eat..." from Kuxli as he
continues down towards his practice area. He spots some movment
in the underbrush and quickly ducks behind a nearby tree. He
watches as a Rodian walks quickly from behind one bush to behind
another. He smiles that same smile he gave to the Rodian recently
lying at his feet as he brings up his bowcaster and aims.

(SKILL) Lughat rolls a 19 for his SEARCH skill. A Good roll!

(SKILL) Lughat rolls a 18 for his HIDE skill. A Good roll!

Shannon grumbles as she tries to wipe the dirt of her hands, she
glances into the vegetation, spotting the blue jacket once again
she mutters, "Mr. Solo, this certainly doesn't help your status
to becoming one of SubPro's successes". She looks at herself and
simply throws up her hands, "I don't even know why I'm even
bothering, look what's happened to my clothes?" She glances over
towards the area, "Why are you still sittin there Mr. Solo? You
won't even offer a lady a hand to get up?"

Just within that tangle of leaves, vines, and ducts, Solo, his
face pale and strained, flashes Shannon an alarmed look. He
brings his finger up to his nose, sharply, ordering her with his
eyes and expression to be silent.

Lughat hears "Why are you still sittin there Mr. Solo?"and waits
in satisfaction

Kuxli stands silent there for a moment as he is all but ignored.
The black slits running up and down through his green eyes narrow
further, "Very well then." he mutters in a growl, storming over
towards where Shannon is laying, and apparently speaking to
something in the bushes.

Shannon snaps her chin back and blinks at Mr. Solo's apparent
request to be silent. She looks around as if wondering what in
the world he would be hiding from. Looking back at him with a
profound look of confusion she whispers into the vegetation,
perhaps a bit too loudly, "What's going on?"

The approach of the Horansi not lost on his senses, Solo melts
back as far as he can press himself into the undergrowth,
mentally urging Shannon, _Distract them, for the love of...!_
Still clinging to his blaster, he focuses every ounce of his will
on keeping himself as silent as possible. Nope, nobody here but
us vines. Nobody at all. No Corellians in blue jackets.
Especially wounded ones. _Dammit, I do -not- hurt... ahh..._

Saul takes careful aim at the Rodian about ten foot in front of
him. He can just barely make out the Rodian's face as it peaks
out at regular intrivals looking around for something. Saul takes
a deep breath and swqeezes off a shot. The bolt heads towards the
target, but the head retreats back behind the bush and the
blaster bolt flys past impacting harmlessly on a tree beyond.

Lughat stands and strides over to Kuxli in an easy manner and
says, "queedo goota neeka vessage gweelo. wrontah zenta dwat
bretz ooja wroota.", in Rodian.

Shannon quirks a brow at seeing Mr. Solo slipping deeper into the
brush. She sighs and turns to face the Horansi with a questioning
look. She decides that maybe this man may know of what in lifes
mysteries is going on. She props herself up and looks up to him
as he approaches, "Would you mind telling me just what Mr. Solo
has to do with what's going on here?"

(SKILL) Han_Solo rolls a 36 for his HIDE skill. A Heroic roll!

Lughats weapon points to the ground so as not to distract Kuxli
or the woman

Kuxli's ears twitch towards the sound of blaster fire in the
bushes, claws sliding out from their sheaths. Though he turns
back towards the woman as she approaches, asking him a question,
"Show me who you were talking to now, I'm a Caspar Marine on
security duties to this station, and I recomend you don't keep on
ignoring me either!" his voice having the deep growling tones of
carefully held back anger. "Before I stop being peaceful and tear
this place apart to find every last being in there!"

_Use the Force, Han,_ Solo thinks a little giddily, finding
himself wondering what Luke'd be doing right about now. _Some
Jedi stunt... dammit, keep sharp, Solo...._ As Shannon seems to
get the hint and stop looking for him, he flatens himself down to
the turf, mentally cursing the fact that blue clothes just
_don't_ blend in well with green foliage. Trying to ignore the
fact that his head is starting to spin, he curses himself, too,
for not having lost his jacket and left it somewhere else for a
decoy. But then again, his white shirt'd be even more obvious...
His head spins. _Keep sharp, Solo..._

Lughat swings toward the blaster fire

Shannon seems slightly appauled at the attitude this Horansi is
giving her. Ignore him? She lifts her chin slightly, "My good
man, I was not ignoring you. I would never ingnore a member of
the Casparian marines, especially with my relationship concerning
Commander Arands. How dare you address me in that manner. I was
simply trying to find out what one of my newly hired employees
has gotten himself into. Perhaps you can answer that question for
me?" she asks with a strong willed determination.

Kuxli's whisker fan out at Shannon's arrogance, "I dont even know
who's HERE. But if you continue to ignore all of my questions
while people die around yo--" he waves a paw at the woman,
storming past her towards the bushes she was speaking to. At the
same time he pulls out a comlink, speaking into it in a mumbled
voice.

Saul keeps an eye for the Rodian, but he sees nothing. For what
seems a long while he meerly stands there, Bowcaster aimed at the
bush before him. Then he feels water from the tree dripping on
his shoulder. He ignores it. Then there is another, his eyes
widen as he slowly looks around. Nothing is there, but in the
distance and through the leaves of a tree he can sees something.
He dismisses it as a small kindleberry bush, known for their dark
blue color. In his absense of attention the Rodian takes a shot,
shooting the bowcaster in Saul's hands. The bowcaster's gas
container explodes and it knocks Saul onto the ground where his
head hits a rock knocking him out.

Lughat covers the coreward exit

Loud sirens start whooping as the garden doors seal shut. "Level
3 is now locked down. Level 3 is now locked down."

Alarms start sounding as a loudspeaker annouces: "Level 3 has
been sealed off. All security personnel and damage control crews
to their stations.
