 Level 4 -Blue Nebula Cantina-

The Blue Nebula Cantina is a small, smoky bar. Catering mainly
to the traders and spacers who visit the station, the Blue Nebula
is known for a few of its unique beverages. Even the occasional
resident will wander in looking for a drink and perhaps a little
conversation.

A tall, lean man with dark hair saunters into the establishment,
casting a casual hazel-eyed glance about. As he happens to catch
a waitress's eye, he smiles narrowly at her, then moves to claim
an unoccupied booth along the wall.

Aldog looks over to the booth and nods

Joth_Solan is chatting with another man, Aldog, at the bar.

Han_Solo disappears among the patrons.

Shannon, a professionally dressed woman, steps into the area with
a seeming spring to her steps, and a very pleased grin upon her
lips. She makes her way towards the platform weaving herself
through the crowd to find a place to sit. Any person she
encounters is given a sparkling smile almost as if she's ready to
burst with excitement.

Solo folds his lanky frame into the seat of the booth he's
chosen, not particularly unobtrusively. Glancing about for that
waitress, he catches her eye and waves her back towards him; she
doesn't approach immediately, occupied with taking another order,
but the Corellian doesn't appear to mind. No rush, sweetheart. He
can wait. As he does, he scans the rest of the place, apparently
lazily, though his gaze doesn't miss much.

Aldog notices all the activity

Phelan_Drac is also glancing up frequently at the other patrons.
Although he has a casual look to him, he does appear to be
searching for someone in particular. Currently though, Toledo is
talking and Phelan brings his attention back to him.

Shannon pulls out a datapad from her pocket as she settles
herself into her chair. She sets it aside momentarily in hopes of
catching the waitresses attention in the bustling activity of the
cantina. Anxiously she waves to her, she gets a response, one
that tells her that it will be a moment before she is waited upon
as she heads over towards the man in the booth. Shannon's eyes
follow the direction and land upon a familiar form, or so she
seems to think it to be. Hoping to catch Solo's eye she raises a
hand up and wiggles her fingers at him as if to say I know you.

Joth_Solan's voice raises a bit in conversation with Aldog. He's
reaching for a refilled bug of some drink even as he speaks.
"Yeah, there's a lot of people looking to stick some bigger
engine on a freighter or whatnot.. It's never easy, though..
Hell, just getting the piece is tough enough, unless you've got
cash.. Making it fit is sometimes double what the hardware cost
you in the first place.." He keeps chatting, his voice returning
to a more suitable level for a conversation at the bar.

Toledo gives Phelan_Drac some Galactic Standard Credits.

Solo's hazel glance does indeed fall upon Shannon; dark eyebrows
quirk, and he leers in the woman's direction, as long as the
waitress seems impervious to Corellian leers. Impeccably
mannered, that waitress does at least promptly take an order for
stew and an ale, before briskly moving off to relay the order
where it needs to go.

Phelan picks up some credits that Toledo has placed on the bar.
He puts his datapad away and continues talking to the other in
what appears to be a friendly manner.

Joth_Solan gestures to Phelan from his seat.

Toledo stands a little shaking Phelan's hand, and at the same
time motioning for Aldog to come over

Aldog nods

Aldog walks away from the bar.

Joth_Solan takes a sip from his blackmoon.

Aldog sits down at the corner booth.

Phelan_Drac finishes shaking the other's hand, and makes his way
back to the bar where Joth is sitting.

Phelan_Drac walks away from the corner booth.

Phelan_Drac sits down at the bar.

Toledo turns around and looks at the bar.

Phelan_Drac takes a seat at a stool next to Joth and waves the
bartender over for a refill of his drink.

Shannon watches the waitress leaving Solo's table, she patiently
awaits her arrival to hers. Seeing Solo noticing her momentarily
she offers a smile to him, one that seems a bit over zealous
perhaps, but she can't seem to help herself at the moment. She
glances back to her datapad, her movements seeming energetic and
quite pleased. Picking up the datapad and glancing down at it,
the smile upon her lips get larger, if it ever can. She balls up
her fist and lifts her chin closing her eyes almost as if what
she's reading is unbelievable, yet very real.

Women with radiant smiles being one of the things ranking fairly
high on the list of Things that Get A Corellian's Attention, Solo
studies the beaming Shannon for a few long moments. He flashes
her a look that's less leer and more honest smile; he doesn't
know what she's beaming so vehemently about, but well, hey. His
ale arrives, with promise of hot stew to shortly follow, and in
the meantime, he keeps half an eye on the ebullient Shannon, the
rest on eyeing the bar at large.

Phelan_Drac laughs out loud at something Joth says and continues
his conversation.

Toledo looks up from his datapad, "Yeah"

Shannon is slightly distracted from her elated state as the
waitress finally approaches her table. She blinks up at the woman
and promptly makes her order, rubbing her hands together, she
gestures at her datapad then to the waitress as if to brag about
something that had happening. Words of trade, business
opportunities, and profit seem to filter out. As the waitress
responds to her with a seeming congratulatory manner, she begins
to move of, yet Shannon grasps the woman’s arm and nods towards
Solo's direction whispering something to her. The Waitress nods
with a smile and moves off to place the order. Glancing in Solo's
direction she smiles almost as if she's the cat that caught the
canary.

Joth_Solan turns on his chair to regard the patrons of the bar.
He's still chatting with Phelan, but he seems a little
distracted. In fact, he keeps slamming his left hand with his
right fist.

Curious now, Solo leans slightly forward in his shadowed booth,
making himself a trifle more obvious, as he considers Shannon
over there across the way. Both brows lifted, he flicks her a
sort of 'So, sweetheart, you wanna come over here and tell me
what you're going into hyperspace without a ship over, or shall I
come over there?' look of query.

The waitress, after placing Shannon's order, makes her way
towards Solo's table. She gestures towards Shannon's table and
mentions to him that the woman sitting at the Platform, has asked
to have him join her at her table and that his meal was being
placed upon her tab.

Joth_Solan is shaking his head negatively in response to Phelan.
His left elbow bends with a squeaking sound, high pitched enough
to carry a few feet away from him. Just as quickly, the elbow
unbends, slamming his hand against the vertical face of the bar
with an immense slap. With a swear he reaches up to his shoulder
and squeezes something. His entire arm jerks one last time and
goes limp. Joth offers a nervous grin to any patrons disturbed,
and says, "No, eh.. Nothing's wrong at all.

"That a fact?" drawls Solo, at the waitress. Well, far be it from
him to refuse free food. He takes up the ale he'd already
received, rising from his seat and ambling over towards Shannon's
table; his stew has beaten him there. Efficient, that waitress.
As he slides into the seat across from the woman who's invited
him over, Solo asks guilelessly, "So, sweetheart... what's got
you goin' into hyperspace without a ship?"

Aldog walks away from the corner booth.

Aldog walks out of the cantina.

Joth_Solan nods to Phelan, "Yeah.." he mutters. Just then, his
upper left limb falls to the floor with a thud. With a sigh, he
turns around on his barstool, grumbling to himself. The limb
remains half resting against the legs of his seat.

Crystal brings a clear bottle filled w/ a blue fizzing substance,
to the corner table, sets it down and places a small glass next
to it. "There you go, Toledo." She smiles and turns back to the
bar.

Uncorking the bottle, Toledo sniffs at it and pours some into the
small glass. Takes a small sip and grins.

Thud? Solo glances sidelong in the thud's direction, then returns
his guileless regard to the woman who's invited him to her table.

Phelan_Drac frowns at the sudden tendency of his companion to
'lose his limbs', but shrugs it off, and bends down to pick up
the other's prosthetic arm, and hand it back to him.

Joth_Solan grunts a thank you, and tosses the limb up onto the
bar top, letting it's hand hang limply over the end. Vanessa, the
bartender walks past, turning to slap it playfully as it grazes
her.

Shannon is pleased that Solo has agreed to take up her
invitation. Her eyes sparkle with sense that can only describe a
woman riding on cloud nine. Her smile the image of grandeur, her
dimples well pronounced, she greets, "I had thought to share my
good fortunes with a friend, and yours seemed the only familiar
one in the crowd". She gestures to your stew, "I hope you don't
mind my taking the liberties of having it delivered to my table,
I had thought you would accept my offer". She glances down at her
datapad and mentions, "Seems an idea of mine for SubPro is
finally reaping it's rewards. You are looking at a woman that's
about to become very wealthy".

Phelan_Drac grins at Vanessa as she walks by, "Here", he says,
turning his attention back to Joth, "Let me buy you a drink for
your good arm, and you can tell me the story about how you lost
that one."

"Well, hot damn," is the Corellian's drawled reply. He smiles
lopsidedly, but again, it's more smile than smirk. If Solo is
wondering why a woman he's met only once would be choosing _him_
as the recipient of this news, he gives no sign of it; he merely
grins over at Shannon, mentally tagging her as _probably_ as
innocent as she seems. "Congratulations, and all that. Don't
spend all your credits in one place."

Joth_Solan smirks. "Thanks.. I swear I'm gonna shoot the little
womprat of a Jawa that sold me that piece of bantha fodder." A
few wealthy patrons nearby give him reproachful looks for his
language. "Make it a blackmoon," he says, raising his near-empty
glass.

Phelan_Drac nods to the other and waits a bit for the bartender
to get to him. "One Blackmoon, and one Corellian Sunburst
please."

Grei walks in from the main concourse.

SQUAD: Caspar Guards - 2208 walks in from the main concourse.

The bartender, Vanessa, nods and heads over to begin mixing the
drinks. A short while later she returns, sliding the glasses
skillfully down the bar to the intended recipients. "Good service
here.", is Phelan's reply to Joth.

Shannon inclines her head to him and excitedly picks up her
datapad, pointing to some figures upon it and babbling about
profit margins and year end returns with a speed in speaking that
sounds much like the buzzing of a swarm of locus. She suddenly
stops and blushes as if almost embarrassed, she puts her hand to
her lips and grins with a slight silliness, she pulls her hand
away slowly and takes a deep breath. She looks at Solo "I'm
sorry, I guess I'm a bit excited about everything working out as
I planned. I had predicted there would be a market for used
ships, and my hunch was right on the credits. Now it appears
SubPro is not only going to be dealing with new vessels, but soon
we are opening up an office for used ones".

Drinking from his glass, Toledo looks up and notices the Guards
walking in.

Slouching -- but just a bit, I mean, hey, there's a lady sitting
with him -- in his seat, Solo considers the brightly babbling
Shannon. His lopsided grin turns rather larger in a mild sort of
amusement. When she interrupts herself and apologizes, he says
lazily, "Don't worry about it, darlin'. There's somethin' to be
said for used ships, after all."

Grei glances around as he enters, trying really hard to ignore
the bodyguards following him. He nods to Crystal as he heads up
to the Prestige table and takes a seat.

Grei sits down at the prestige table.

A feint hush mars the cacophony of talk as the Guards move in to
the bar. A moment later, it resumes, just as loud as before.

Toledo walks away from the corner booth.

Grei talks briefly with Crystal as she stops by his table. He
places his order and begins to read through his datapad.

Crystal works with grace as she makes a Dragonflower and serves
it to Grei.

Taking his bottle w/ him, Toledo walks back to the prestige
table, and stands at one corner, "Excuse me, May I speak w/ you?"

Grei glances up at Toledo as his bodyguards step closer, and
says, "What about, sir?"", in Corellian.

Toledo moves a little closer to the table, to make himself heard
a little better, and sets a bottle on the edge.

The bodyguards frown and step even closer, all but touching
Toledo as he gets too close to Grei.

Toledo taking a small step backward, and smiling a little, "Well
you were pointed out to me by someone connected w/ FLS as someone
important w/ this station, and I was wondering if you could tell
me who to contact about setting up a room for myself on the
station. Seeing as us FLS pilots spend so much time here."

After a brief pause, "And I think my apartment on Caspar is going
to waste, so I might as well spend my rent money up here, Neh?"

Shannon finds herself chuckles lightly as she nods her agreement
towards Solo. Her eyes momentarily get distracted as she takes
note of the guards walking past. Looking even closer she notes
that its Grei they seem to be protecting. Her eyes go slightly
wide in wonder, and yet a hint of concern flashes behind her eyes
which had just a few minutes prior been filled with ecstatic joy.

Looking a bit uncomfortable between the two guards, Toledo picks
up his bottle and moves back a couple of feet.

Grei nods slowly, and says, "You'd have to take that up with
Residential Affairs, sir. I'm currently off duty.", in Corellian.

Toledo smiles, and nods his head, "Thank you sir, it was a
_pleasure_ meeting you," turns around and heads back to his
table.

Solo quirks his eyebrows at the shift in Shannon's expression,
flicks a subtle glance in the direction she looks, then returns
his attention to his companion. "Trouble?" he asks succinctly.

Grei smiles and thanks Crystal as she brings up his drink to him.
His bodyguards fade back into the woodwork as Toledo steps away
from the table, looking a bit disappointed at the lack of
trouble.

Grei takes a drink from his Dragonflower.

Shannon redirects her attention back to Solo, almost hesitant in
a way, she blinks as she looks at Solo, "I don't know" she says
amazingly slow. Her voice filled with a definite concern, "I
haven't seen him walking around with so many guards bef ore. It's
almost unnerving". She glances down and tries to shake it off,
she regains her sparkling smile and asks, "So how is your stay
here on Kichnar? I hope well for you? Did you happen to get a
chance to visit Caspar below? The beaches down there is
exquisite".

Joth_Solan stands up, rubbing his back. He mutters something to
Phelan, and picks up his left arm. Yes, picks up. It was sitting
on the bar top, completely unattached to his body. Making his way
across the floor of the bar, he heads to the door. Needless to
say a few patrons watch him with grins.

"Can't say I've been planetside this time around," Solo allows to
Shannon. "Still got business here that wants takin' care of."

Grei glances about the cantina again, before turning back to his
datapad and sipping his drink.

Toledo walks out of the cantina.

Grei takes a drink from his Dragonflower.

After a time of several customers leaving the bar after nervous
looks at Grei's bodyguards, Vanessa comes up to his table and
speaks to him quietly.

Grei frowns and nods to Vanessa, and says, "I see. I'll have them
bret outside."", in Corellian.

Grei says, "Squad 2208 go coreward"

SQUAD: Caspar Guards - 2208 walks out of the cantina.

Grei turns to Vanessa, and says, "Will that do?"", in Corellian.

Vanessa nods with a smile, and goes back to waiting on patrons.

Shannon arches a brow with a curious interest, "Business? Are you
a merchant as well? Mr. Solo.... wasn't it?" as if to ask for
reassurance that her memory is serving her right. Spotting the
waitress and thinking it should be about time for her order to
arrive she places the datapad into her pocket just in time to see
the guards leaving the cantina. Her brow quirks up curiously as
she glances back at Grei.

Phelan_Drac watches as the man he was sitting with and his
appendage leave, and he turns back around to his drink, finishing
it in a large gulp. He looks around the cantina, with that same
air of someone looking for someone else. Sighing he throws down
some credits on the bar and makes he way out also.

Phelan_Drac walks out of the cantina.

Grei takes a sip from his Dragonflower.

"I'm a pilot, mostly," says the Corellian sitting with Shannon,
grinning faintly. His stew, already arrived, gets a bit of
passing attention.

Solo does nod, though, at the woman's recollection of the name
he'd given her.

Shannon inclines her head to Solo, "A pilot, a profession that is
seeked out by many. You wouldn't happen to be looking for a job
would you? SubPro is in the market for hiring a good pilot, and"
she glances you over, "You appear to be able to handle yourself
relatively well".

Grei takes a sip from his Dragonflower.

Solo's crooked grin returns. "I try," he returns. "I probably
ain't what you're lookin' for, though, sweetheart."

Grei frowns at his datapad and sets it on the table before
pulling out a comlink and speaking softly into it.

Grei growls at the comlink in a louder voice , and says, "I don't
care if they are complaining about hangar space....we need those
food shipments as soon as possible. Get them on board anyway you
can.", in Corellian.

Shannon seems a bit taken back at the response almost as if most
would consider it an honor to even of been offered a job by
SubPro, though her indigenous smile returns. She softly chuckles
at the callused manner of the man, "Am I to take that as a no
then? SubPro has many benefits to offer, and" she grins with a
gesture to her datapad, "We are growing more wealthy as the days
pass. You too could come aboard and ride that wave of success
with us?"

If Solo's lazy amused grin and the glint in his eyes are any
indication, he's not oblivious to Shannon's charm, but his voice
is steady as he replies, "Never worked for a company in my life,
darlin'. I wouldn't know what to do with one."

Grei nods in response to what he hears on the comlink, and says,
"That's what I thought. Just keep those shipments coming and
don't let them make any more excuses. We're already paying them
double their normal shipment rates. Grei out."", in Corellian.

Grei puts away his comlink, takes a hefty drink of his
dragonflower and turns back to his datapad.

Grei takes a drink from his Dragonflower.

Shannon lifts her chin as she views his response as an opening to
do the hook, line and sinker technique. With a flourished manner,
she sits forward and places her hands intertwined upon the table.
She smiles something of a impossible to resist nature as she
proceeds to try to convince the man he's perfect for the job, "I
would be most happy to teach you how if given the chance. Working
for SubPro has been a Godsend to me and my life. I once was a
traveling merchant with my father you see. And now, look at me"
she gestures to herself, "The Senior executive of SubPro. All it
takes is a little imagination and a lot of ambition. I can see
you have the same spark of ambition in your eyes Mr. Solo"

Solo manages, just barely, to suppress a snicker at the notion
that this woman, however charming, could teach him anything
related to piloting, even if she probably actually means dealing
with companies. Keeping a straight face, he tells her dryly,
"I've been accused of havin' ambition before."

Grei skims through the rest of his datapad, frowning at a few
other reports.

Shannon eyes glint with a sense of victory, perhaps a
overconfident sense for her own good, so she continues thinking
she has this man almost convinced. "Indeed, and it wouldn't take
much to turn that ambition into a profitable wealth. SubPro has
many opportunities for a man with ambition such as yourself. One
day a pilot, next day, who knows? You could be a co-partner? Not
that I'm offering you a partnership at this point in time you
understand. But anything is possible as the future grows nearer
and nearer."

The Corellian can't quite suppress a snicker, this time; he's in
the middle of a swig of ale, and he manages to swallow it down,
but it takes him a moment. When he can speak clearly, he drawls,
"What, make a respectable businessman outta me?" _Calrissian
would laugh himself sick._

Grei sighs and takes a big drink before pulling out his comlink
again.

Grei finishes off his Dragonflower.

Brows lift with an expectant certainty, Shannon responds with a
wave of her hands towards the Corellian man, with exuberance she
exclaims, "Of course" she tilts her head slightly as if
inspecting his clothing, "With a bit of tailoring and the proper
clothes, no being would be able to avoid doing business with you.
Myself included" she ads as if it were meant as a compliment.

Grei starts speaking softly into his comlink, frowning as he
listens to the response.

_Tailoring? By the Original Light, she'd probably want to make me
-shave-, too... sounds like Winter!_ Solo manages to repress a
shudder, but on general principle he casts a glance down at his
slightly rumpled jacket and shirt, protesting, "Heeey, I like my
clothes." There's a grin still lingering about his mouth, though,
signaling that he must be teasing.

Grei doesn't look too happy with the responses he got on his
comlink as he puts it away and picks up his datapad. After
leaving a hefty tip on the table, he stands up and heads for the
entrance.

Shannon seems slightly amused yet quite understanding, she
inclines her head to Solo, "Yes well, those clothes do appear
quite.." she pauses as if phrase the right word, "comfortable" is
what she manages to come up with. She continues, "Think about it
Mr. Solo. It's an opportunity worth consideration. And if I were
you, I would think hard on it". She glances at her chronometer
and is shocked at how much time had passed, she glances at Solo
with a sorrowful smile, "It seems I've spent more then my
allotted time having my meal and if I'm to keep SubPro's profit
standings continuing, I must attend to matters at hand". She
rises from her seat and extends a hand to the man, "I thankyou
for joining me at my table and I do hope you will consider coming
to work for SubPro?"

Grei walks out of the cantina.

"I'll think about it," Solo promises. He doesn't put any pledges
to how _long_ he'll think about it. "Thanks for pickin' up my
tab, though, sweetheart." He smiles amiably enough, inwardly
deciding that she _must_ be on the up and up; surely, nobody
who's actually managed to recognize him would be feeding him this
kind of line? "Don't let me keep yah."

Shannon nods with a satisfaction of knowing the man is at least
considering her offer, "Very well, it was a pleasure Mr. Solo. I
do hope to be hearing from you soon. My office is located on the
7th level should you decide to take me up on my offer. Good day".
With that, she turns and makes her way down off the platform,
catching up to the waitress as she steps off the platform.
Credits pass hands, Shannon nods to the woman with a smile, she
turns and gives Solo a wave as she exits the cantina.
