Log Date: 10/24/95 Log Intro: Following Rayek's collapse, Ktai has to continued to try to soothe him, as she frantically worries over what to do with him; meanwhile, Ekuar worries at the Palace.... ---------- Ktai looks worriedly to you. Rayek slumps in your grasp, brow furrowed. "Have to return," he mutters slurrily. "Have to... can't go..." Ktai holds you closer, trying to keep you still. ** Still... calm down.... you will return... in time. ** Rayek's slight brown frame is far too warm, and as if the fever that has seized him provides its own strange kind of energy, he occasionally jerks, glancing skyward painedly as if considering trying to lift aloft. Ktai again rests cool lips on your forehead, an almost motherly motion, testing for warmth. She shakes her head, and sighs. Rayek mumbles absently, "He needs the images... I must... return to the Scrolls..." Ktai shakes her head firmly. "Azeure can wait. He's waited this long. I need to get you to my friend..." Rayek struggles to rise, obstinately. "No...!" The word comes out in a harsh whisper. "They... will never hear me again, if I leave...!" Ktai holds you down. ** And they will never hear you if you die, stubborn one. ** Rayek smiles. Actually smiles, but the expression is distant and grieved. ** You... don't understand! I... need only leave this shell... then they'll hear me... the High Ones will not ignore me any longer... ** Ktai's eyes snap to you, her skin paling. ** Would you leave Eukar? ** Ktai frowns. ** And then who would hear -you-? Who would keep the Palace safe, as you have? ** ** But... I would not leave him... I... ** He trails off, confused, dizzy. Terribly dizzy.... Ktai gently soothes your face. The cloth is still damp and cool. ** Shhh then. ** Rayek's eyes drop closed, and he shudders. Ktai shakes her head sadly. "Where can I take you?" Rayek's head lolls sideways. Ktai sighs, and gently brushes hair out of your face as she wipes cool water on your face. [And meanwhile, in the Palace....] Ekuar> Windkin steps in from outside. Ekuar> Windkin moves away from the huge stone structure nearby. Ekuar> Windkin has arrived. Ekuar> Ekuar seems to have fallen asleep, propped against his staff near a wrapstuffed form on the floor. Ekuar> Windkin makes his way up the long staircase. Ekuar> Windkin has left. Ekuar> Windkin comes down the stairs from above. Ekuar> Windkin has arrived. Ekuar> Windkin comes down the stairs looking confused. Ekuar> Ekuar snaps awake, blinking groggily. "Eh? Brownskin?" Ekuar> Windkin says "No Ekuar, it's me, Windkin." Ekuar> Windkin says "It looks like most of the gliders have flown off elsewhere hmm?" Ekuar> Ekuar blinkblinks, and looks up sadly at the young elf. "Ah... eh... did... Ktai come back with Brownskin? And Delenbae, we must have Delenbae for Lursa...!" Ekuar> Windkin makes a slight face of distaste at the name Delenbae, "I can take her back to the village, to Mender. I'm not wanted here anyway." Ekuar> Windkin looks at the wrapstuffed bundle. Ekuar> Windkin says "And no, I have seen neither Ktai, nor Rayek." Ekuar> Ekuar pats the bundle, mournfully. "As long as she is healed..." At Windkin's latter comment, he murmurs, "And Brownskin, too." Ekuar> Windkin nods, "I'll try to keep her at the village after she is healed. I'll stay there as well." Ekuar> Windkin thinks for a moment, "I can't carry her all that way. I'll have to make a litter and take her no-hump back." Ekuar> Ekuar starts to rise, glancing worriedly outside -- why isn't Rayek back yet? -- and he nods, hastily. "The others must be told... they will be worried. They heard the blast, you know, and Ktai has gone after Brownskin, but they have not returned..." He frets at his staff. Ekuar> Windkin sort of bites at his lip, "I'm sure Rayek is fine, Ekuar." he thinks for a moment. Ekuar> Windkin says "They will return after I take Lursa to Sorrow's End for healing I think. " he smiles wanly at you, "Things should settle down a bit when there are less elves here." Ekuar> Ekuar's single gnarled hand grips his staff as if if seeking comfort from the sturdy wood. His eyes are full of worry. "I wish I knew! He does not answer my sendings -- oh, young one, I fear something is wrong...." Ekuar> Windkin looks down at the base of your staff then at you, his face slightly pensive, "If I could do something to help I would...or even if I knew /what/ to do." Ekuar> Ekuar admits sadly, "Perhaps... it would not be best to have her here, when Rayek returns... I'm sure she'll be angry! I would be! Poor Brownskin, I should have seen this coming, but my poor old head has been distracted..." Ekuar> Windkin says "Distracted with fixing the palace?" Ekuar> Ekuar nods a few times, earnestly. "Suck a daunting task! Have you seen all the side chambers? Rock everywhere... ah me... and Brownskin, he has changed, you know, being in the Palace all alone for so long, I think he's rather forgotten how to live with other elves! And now, all these visitors. He's quite, quite shaken." As if comforted to find a listening ear, Ekuar chatters sadly. Ekuar> Windkin looks down at his feet, over at the walls, at the pillars, basically everywhere but at you directly, but he is listening., Ekuar> Windkin keeps looking about, slightly uncomfortably, as if he expects Rayek to walk back in any moment and lay into him over something, "I should prepare to take Lursa for healing.." he says, his sentence sort of trailing off. Ekuar> Ekuar sighs at last, sadly. "If you wish, young one... do take Lursa to the Sun Village... Mender will help her... but we'll have to tell the others. It would be odd, to take her to the Village if we have a healer here..." Ekuar> Windkin says "I don't know where Delenbae is, I haven't seen him for days." Ekuar> Windkin says "It's equally foolish to wait on getting her healed when we don't even know where the healer who is supposed to be here is." Ekuar> Windkin shakes his head, "No, I'll take her." Ekuar> Windkin looks at the wrapstuff bundle, "Well, I'm going to go make the litter now." And with that, he glides off. Ekuar> Windkin steps through the doorway outside. Ekuar> Windkin approaches the huge stone structure. Ekuar> Windkin has left. Ekuar> Gelnah comes down the stairs from above. Ekuar> Gelnah has arrived. Ekuar> Gelnah floats down the stairs and comes to a smooth landing, glancing down at the wrapstuff. Ekuar> Ekuar looks after the departed Windkin, fretfully, while Petalwing buzzes anxiously about the hall. Ekuar> Ekuar looks up, sadly. "Ah, hello..." Ekuar> Ekuar shifts himself, and sits again, patting the bundle on the floor worriedly. Ekuar> Azeure comes down the stairs from above. Ekuar> Azeure has arrived. Ekuar> Azeure raises a brow as he turns to Gelnah. Ekuar> Gelnah inclines her head to the bundle Ekuar> Ekuar pipes up absently, "Windkin is making a litter... he wants to take her to Sorrow's End. It would probably be for the best... I expect she would be very angry, when Brownskin returns...." Ekuar> Gelnah sends openly ** Too be sure...but she can be made to stay there? ** Ekuar> Azeure arches a brow to Gelnah.. Ekuar> Ekuar smiles sadly. "She is a free elf, free to come and go... best that she be whole before she faces Rayek again, I fear. And best that he be whole, too..." Ekuar> Azeure nods ** Perhaps even it be best that they remain out of contact with each other for a while.. ** Ekuar> Azeure looks to Ekuar ** Has Door been assisting your shaping? ** Ekuar> Ekuar blinks. "Eh what?" Ekuar> Azeure nods quietly ** I see.. ** Ekuar> Ekuar squints up at the taller elf. "If there's another shaper here, no one told me! You Gliders haven't said much to me." He looks unsurprised by this. Ekuar> Gelnah looks about, seemingly having dismissed the situation Ekuar> Azeure nods to Ekuar ** Yes.. I believe she is still here.. she will help if needed. ** Ekuar> Ekuar frowns. "All the help I need at the moment is to make sure Brownskin is safe; the Palace can wait, it has stood for all this time, it'll stand a little longer!" Ekuar> Ekuar hoists himself up on his staff, and murmurs absently to the nearby fluttering Preserver, "Come, little friend... " Petalwing eyes the Gliders, then flits to Ekuar's shoulder, and the ancient rockshaper stumps outside. Ekuar> You step out through the doorway, leaving the entry hall behind. Ekuar> Palace(#500Jae) Ekuar> If you only glance this way, you see nothing... nothing more, at least, than an odd ripple in your surroundings, and perhaps, just perhaps, a strange twinge in the back of your If you stare this way longer, directly at the ripple, you can see a towering stone structure, battered and weathered of appearance; one nearby wall sports a great ripple along its surface that might once have been a deep, open crack. Ekuar> Obvious exits: Ekuar> Doorway Ekuar> You approach the huge battered stone structure. Ekuar> Petalwing carefully pushes open the door from inside the Palace and joins you. Ekuar> Petalwing approaches the huge stone structure. Ekuar> Some distance away, Windkin has left. Ekuar> Windkin approaches the huge stone structure. Ekuar> Windkin has arrived. Ekuar> Windkin carefully pushes open the door from inside the Palace and joins you. Ekuar> Windkin approaches the huge stone structure. Ekuar> Windkin has arrived. Ekuar> Windkin comes back out of the palace, the wrapstuff bundle of Lursa slung over his shoulder. Ekuar> Windkin says "I'm going now, Ekuar, taking her to Mender." Ekuar> Some distance away, Sunny grazes on whatever a pony can find around here Ekuar> Ekuar sits somewhat disgruntedly in the shade, but looks up at the sight of the youth. His expression softens. "Alright, lad... I will make sure the others know..." Ekuar> Windkin nods once, looks like he's about to say something, opens his mouth, closes it and turns, leaving the palace almost anxiously. Ekuar> Windkin moves away from the huge stone structure nearby. Ekuar> Windkin has left. Ekuar> Some distance away, Windkin has arrived. Ekuar> Ekuar sends a sad farewell after the youth, watching. Ekuar> Some distance away, Windkin carefully places the cocoon on the litter he's made and attached to Sunny, securing it in place with several straps of leather. Ekuar> Some distance away, Sunny perks his ears uneasily at the strange rider and bundle, shifting his footing, head turning to try to look. Ekuar> Some distance away, Bokril has connected. Ekuar> Some distance away, Windkin is finishing the last touches of securing a wrapstuff bundle to a liter attached to Sunny. Ekuar> Some distance away, Sunny prances uneasily, unsure of this situation and trying to deice in his horsey-mind if he should bolt Ekuar> Some distance away, Bokril walks in, looking about, nicely armed. "Someone want to tell me what's going on??" Ekuar> Ekuar looks out from where he's sitting in the shade by the Palace's bulk, and he squints out at the sight of a newly arriving elf. Ekuar> Some distance away, Windkin takes hold of Sunny's bridle, "I don't even know who you are." he says simply. Ekuar> Petalwing flits, worriedly, and zips out to peer at the newcomer. Ekuar> Some distance away, Sunny tosses his head upwards, trying to dislodge Windkin's hand Ekuar> Some distance away, Bokril says "Yeah, your point being? I'm visiting from up north, where this thing *nods toward Palace* used to be. So let's try again, what happened?" Ekuar> Petalwing moves away from the huge stone structure nearby. Ekuar> Petalwing has left. Ekuar> Some distance away, Petalwing flitflitflits, and zips around Bokril, curiously. Ekuar> Some distance away, Bokril groans. "Great, a bug...haven't seen one in a -long- time." Ekuar> Some distance away, Windkin half growls at the horse, jerking his head back down roughly. He looks over Bokril and after listening to him says simply "Goback." and proceeds to tie the pony to a rock as he takes down his tent. Ekuar> Some distance away, Petalwing pouts. /Petalwing live in homeplace! Petalwing not like naughtybad fightslots highthings, either!/ Ekuar> Some distance away, Windkin unbinds the leather covering from the tent and removes it, carefully rolling it up and then setting to work removing the stakes. (You can 'pitch' the tent.) Ekuar> Ekuar rises, carefully, leaning on his staff, and makes his way out of the shade. Ekuar> You move away from the huge stone structure, stepping around the rubble that litters its immediate vicinity. Ekuar> Wide Pass Through World's Spine Mountains Ekuar> This wide pass is nearly an entire days' ride from one side to the other, from what you can tell. The sun is still hard and heavy here, but the looming presence of the mountains to either side seem to lessen the drain of the barren waste. Ekuar> Contents: Ekuar> Petalwing(#3061) Ekuar> Windkin Ekuar> Cloudripper Ekuar> Bokril Ekuar> Sunny(#8371IJaeps) Ekuar> Nightfeather(#2638IJMae) Ekuar> Oiled Leather Tent Ekuar> OOC SIGN: Palace visitors, read me!(#10156) Ekuar> Desert Tent(#6879IJaes) Ekuar> Palace(#500Jae) Ekuar> Obvious exits: Ekuar> Northwest South Ekuar> Ekuar eyes the newcomer gravely, and says, "I am surprised that your chieftess has not informed her tribe of 'what happened'." Ekuar> Sunny tries to knaw on the ties that bind him Ekuar> Bokril says "Oh, this part I knew about. I mean, what was the latest crash I heard? And what's with the wrapstuff?" Ekuar> Oiled Leather Tent has left. Ekuar> Windkin picks up the rolled tent, straps it across his back and proceeds onwards, untying the pony and leading him off, ignoring the newcomer. Ekuar> Ekuar says mildly, "How 'latest' do you mean, warrior?" Ekuar> Sunny balks at Windkin's lead, shaking his head violently Ekuar> Bokril sighs. "Ekuar, how about in the last day?" Ekuar> Windkin says "High ones no-hump, you're as stubborn as your mount." Ekuar> Windkin says "Let's try it this way." Ekuar> Windkin swings up on to no-hump's broad back. Ekuar> Windkin has left. Ekuar> From Sunny's back, Windkin kicks his heels into Sunny's side, the way he's seen it done, "Now, let's go." Ekuar> Ekuar gives Bokril a sad, level look, then turns to Windkin and tells him, "Journey well, young one -- and please tell Savah what happened." Ekuar> Sunny snorts! in surprise and springs off into a race, the travois bumping along behind, until the stupid beast realizes something is chasing him , and tears off even faster! Ekuar> Sunny heads towards Northwest Ekuar> Sunny has left. Ekuar> Ekuar then adds to Bokril, "The wrapstuff has your tribesmate Lursa in it. She is hurt...!" He jumps a little as the no-hump scurries off. From afar, Windkin nods to Ekuar, "I will." Ekuar> Bokril blinks. "Hurt? How?" Ekuar> Ekuar says sadly, turning away, "Brownskin... lost his temper, I am afraid. She has a broken leg, perhaps other injuries.... Windkin takes her to Sorrow's End." Ekuar> Bokril narrows his eyes. "Where is he now?" Ekuar> Ekuar studies the younger elf gravely. "If I knew... I am not sure I would tell you. I have no wish for further bones to be broken." Ekuar> You see before you a 4-foot 7-inch mountain of a Goback. He looks out at you with rounded amber eyes. His black hair hangs down to the middle of his back and has two braids in it. A lock of his hair falls occasionally into his face. This lock, however, does nothing to obscure his other facial features...his short nose, turned up in contempt at the world (and especially trolls)...his small mouth, belying his stern personality...the small scars that encircle his right eye. He is wearing an outfit that he picked up in the Sun Village...though from the look of it, it's not much of an outfit at all. Mostly, it is a black leather pair of short breeches, going down to about mid-thigh. They are very tight, and therefore quite revealing. Around his upper arms and wrists, he wears gold bands, and a leather belt around his waist holds his weapons. On his feet are low-cut leather shoes. Ekuar> Carrying: Ekuar> Bokril's Mace Ekuar> Bokril's Knife Ekuar> Kaer has connected. Ekuar> Bokril says "Whose, his or mine?" Ekuar> Ekuar sighs. And without further words, sadly turns away from the belligerent elf, and hobbles back into the shade. Ekuar> Some distance away, Kaer yawns quietly from his little lean-to up in the rocks. Ekuar> Some distance away, Bokril continues down the pass, heading south. Ekuar> Some distance away, Bokril has left. [And meanwhile, back with Rayek and Ktai...] Ktai sighs, and gently moves you into her arms. She rocks you gently, the cool cloth draped on your forehead. She sends outwards, trying, hoping. Rayek seems to settle, though that frown hasn't quite left his face. Ktai sends, trying to find a mind far away. Ktai sighs. No avail. She looks around her. She can't take him back to the Palace... he would never forgive her. She can't take him away... she'd not have the strength.... what to do? Ktai bites her lip. Ktai sighs, noticing her supply of water is low. "Now what?" she asks quietly. Ktai shakes her head, and makes up her mind. She gently lifts Rayek in her arms. Her magic aids her, and she bites her lip. Ktai sends openly ** Can you hear me? ** Rayek sends openly ** .......? ** Ktai nods faintly. ** My friend is near... he can help... but I must take you away from the Daystar... ** Rayek barely moves, as he is lifted up; his slight form is easily hoisted. Ktai sends openly ** Will you let me take you? ** Rayek begins, ** I... ** Then, as if being lifted has pulled what little strength remains in him out, he falls silent, head dropping back across your arm. Ktai gently picks Rayek up higher, standing and carrying him in her arms with ease. Ktai You are in Ktai's arms, and notice that you must be held by more than just her arms. Magic tingles around you, keeping you light enough for her to carry with ease. [Ktai goes off with Rayek to...] Edge of the Jungle(#367RAJ) You are at the transition between two strongrly different types of terrain. To the north is a wide expanse of savannah. The savannahs are utterly flat and treeless except the great waterhole area barely over the rise. You can see the great trees surrounding it from here but it's nothing compared to what you see to the south and east. As you look towards the great jungles you see a massive and imposing rain forest, its tremendous trees soaring high above your head. There is a faint trail leading northwest across the savannah, and an opening in the trees seems to lead into the jungle to the south. Rigar looks over the dark skinned one briefly Rigar looks at you for a moment. Rayek, lowered, is a slight brown figure covered in dust and grime; his face is hollow of cheek and sallow under his tan, save for a hot flush of color across his sharp cheekbones. Ktai shakes her head. ** He is fevered... exhausted... ** Rayek frowns vaguely, not quite conscious, starting to scowl. Ktai frowns. ** I am Glider by blood. Nothing more. Please, help him? ** Rigar sends openly ** Perhaps it is rest he needs.. not a healers touch.. ** Ktai soothes Rayek with the last of her precious water. The cloth comes away dingy, but at least it is cool. Ktai shakes her head. ** His skin is feverish... I fear he is ill. ** Rigar Rigar stands at a modest 3'7". His lithe and muscular body moves with an almost unnatural grace. His face is soft and textured as his skin seems tightly pulled over his cheekbones. His chest is broad and muscular, and his arms seem warm and welcoming. He wears a light tunic of dark green and a breechcloth of the same color, which reflects the soft green color of his eyes. He turns to look at you as a gentle but slightly mischevious grin plays on his soft thin lips. His soft brown hair is long and flowing down between his shoulders. His eyes reflect a hidden fury, but yet seem warm and gentle. For some odd reason you feel comfortable and safe just being around him. Rigar sighs and sets his traveling pack on the ground, rummaging through it for a long moment before producing a handful of moss covered roots and a bowl as he settles to the ground Ktai sighs sadly. ** He'll no doubt hate me for this... but I cannot let him die. ** Ktai continues to wipe the cool cloth over Rayek's face. Rigar looks Rayek over again as he begins to crush the root in his bowl, mixing it with a bit of water from his flask ** How long has he been like that? ** Rayek shivers under Ktai's ministrations, eyes closed, tightly. Ktai shakes her head. ** He has not been unconscious long... feverish... I do not know... perhaps a day, two... ** Rigar nods ** Have you checked for bite marks.. infection in cuts.. scrapes? ** Ktai shakes her head. ** No... I had not thought to... he was delierous... it was all I could do to keep him calmed. ** Rayek frowns. Something's wrong. The pull of the Palace has lessened. Where is he? He starts shifting in Ktai's grasp, restless, worried in his daze. Rigar sets the bowl aside as he moves to Rayek.. searching for blood or any other marks of snakebite or other such infectious wounds. Ktai bites her lip, trying to soothe Rayek with voice, send, and coolness. Ktai locksends ** Shhhh.... you are safe..... ** Ktai whispers softly to Rayek, her eyes worriedly following Rigar's movements. The unconscious stranger's body is certainly dirty; dust, and tiny bits of what look like shards of stone are lodged in the cloth. His garments smell of old sweat as well. But there seems to be no sign of blood on him, at least not obvious. Are those tiny nicks along his arms, perhaps one or two on his face? Ktai clucks softly to herself. Rigar frowns a bit as he moves back to the bowl.. finishing the mixture and handing it to Ktai ** Have him drink this.. perhaps it will bring the feaver down.. in the meanwhile you can rest in my cave if you like ** Ktai takes the bowl, and lifts Rayek's head. ** Drink... ** Ktai nods. ** He needs rest... ** Rigar replaces his travel pack and mounts his bond again ** Come.. ** Rigar takes ahold of the great cat's sleek coat and mounts Larkus. Rigar has left. Ktai shakes her head, and lifts Rayek. ** Shall we rest him on your cat? Or is that too much? ** From Larkus's back, Rigar nods as he moves foreward on Larkus's shoulders Rayek, given water, coughs a little, then subsides again as Ktai lifts him up. Ktai gently levitates Rayek to the large cat's back Larkus You are riding a huge southern panther. You can feel the muscles rippling beneath you as he moves. This is a relatively small chamber as they go, but there is plenty of room to move about. There are stalagmites jutting up here and there from the floor of the cave, seeming to pierce the floor of the cave. Looking up the stalagmites protruding from it's roof are long and spindly, some even meeting with the floor making the room seem to have pillars. The sounds of the waterfall are soft and almost unnoticed as the soft dripping sound echoes in the cavern. Rigar's things are littered around here as you see many old furs placed together in an obviously comfortable pile that has been placed into a natural bowl in the floor. Near the middle there is a small steaming pool, a hot spring, one of natures finest wonders. The trickling sounds of water and the warm moisture of the air in here are soothing and most certainly beg you to come relax inside. The cavern is illuminated by a natural vent in the chamber's celing, allowing the sunlight in at all times of the day, and the moonlit chamber at night is simply breathtaking. It always seems that the cave is whispering softly, even if nobody makes a sound. You simply feel compelled to shed your worries and your cares and just relax here in this haven of peacefulness. Out Ktai has arrived. Larkus has arrived. Rigar jumps down from the Larkuss back. Rigar has arrived. Ktai looks around. ** This is familiar to me from Eveshka... ** [And after Rayek is settled...] Ktai sighs softly, caressing your face with the fresh water on the cloth. Ktai begins to inspect your clothing. "Dirty... perhaps the spring..." Rayek mumbles incoherently under his breath, eyes darting frenetically under his closed lids. Ktai sends openly ** Shhh.... you are safe. ** Rayek moans, frowning, as whatever was in the herbs Rigar put in the water makes its way through his body. Ktai soothes calmly. ** Shhh... ** Rayek tries to open his eyes. Smells wrong here. Different... the air... where is he? Ekuar...! Ktai frowns, worriedly. ** Shhh... everything is well. ** Rayek mumbles, "Leetah... do not go... please.... I did not mean...." Ktai sends openly ** Shhh..... It's me.... Ktai.... ** Rayek's eyes fly open; his gaze, unseeing, randomly wanders the cave. Ktai continues to shake her head. "Are you all there?" Rayek jerks, startledly, one hand flying up and glittering slightly. ** .....! ** Ktai catches your hand. ** Shhh. Be still. ** Ktai's lips twitch at the tingle, but she does not let go. Rayek struggles, but without strength, and his gaze turns frightened. Where is he...? Why does he burn? Without recognition, he blinks up at the tall female, and strives to pull away. Ktai says "Hush.... I'm Ktai...." Ktai gently wipes your face with the cool damp cloth. She looks tired, but smiles. Rayek slumps, and is trembling. Abruptly, he clenches his eyes closed and turns his face away, almost as if rejecting the ministrations. Ktai locksends ** As long as you fight me, you will get nowhere.... I do not fight back. I merely wait until you can no longer fight. ** You locksend to Ktai, Rayek's mind, heated, unsteady, shrinks back warily. ** .....! * Ktai locksends ** You are safe and well... come out of your shell, my friend... ** You locksend ** ** to Ktai. Ktai soothes you. ** You are safe... ** Rayek frowns... but slowly, relaxes, soothed more by the tone of the sending than its actual words. Ktai gently tries to make you more comfortable. "He'll have to take a bath when he feels better..." Rayek grows quieter, the nervous twitching of his limbs subsiding, as the continued quiet tones begin to lull him. Ktai shakes her head again. ** Are you all there? ** Rayek's eyes drop closed, heavily, slowly. But his head shifts slightly, at the sending. The voice. What does it... she... want? He frowns a little, wishing it would go away. Ktai smiles faintly, she nods to herself, and walks over to the pool. [End log.]
