[Note from Ynderra; this log was taken by Leetah's player on 5/16 -- perhaps 5/17 -- 1996.] Lighteyes walks up the hill from the clearing to the east. Lighteyes has arrived. Shadowfox lays back down carefully, and waits... Halftrack has arrived. Halftrack comes over and join Lighteyes's side. A gentle glow rises from Leetah's hands, laid gently on Shadowfox's brow. Lighteyes comes up the hill cautiously, looking for LoneWolf. LoneWolf sits beside Shadowwfox, watching Lighteyes stays back. Leetah is already lost deeply in the healing trance, sensing the hurt, and how to go about healing it. The glow brightens, pervading the area around the two elves. Shadowfox sighs, feeling the warmth enter her... Grinner has arrived. You locksend ** Ragged pain and injury is flooded with warmth. This healing sooths the immediate hurt, and you can feel the raw edges of your damaged psyche closing together like water closes over a rock in a stream. ** to Shadowfox. Lighteyes heads towards Clearing Lighteyes has left. Halftrack walks after Lighteyes, leaving you. Halftrack has left. Grinner heads towards Clearing Grinner has left. Leetah is deeply lost in a healing trance, and a glow envelopes Shadowfox and the healer. You sense in a locksend, Shadowfox's mind is very open and slowly closing, but she cannot stop the images that float about her... pain, torment, heart-ache... a great battle, black-sends, and the halls of....Blue Mountain... Shadowfox closes her eyes, accepting the healing... Leetah's healing light takes a shift in hue as she works to soothe the deep injuries caused by ... the black snake? You sense in a locksend, Shadowfox's mind is closing faster now, but before it does, one last image escapsed... brought by your healing into sharp clarity: Fox is standing before Winnowill, deperately trying to protect someone.... a love... a love she holds terribly dear. Winnowill is firing repeated black-sends that are rawly aborbed by a starge power, one that's familiar to you. She touches Fox's shoulder, her legs snap instantly... their is a cry of anguish from the one she's protecting... Tears slip from the healer's eyes as she catches that image. Her hands move from the touching of Shadowfox's head to embrace the poor wounded young one. Her healing magic flares, engulfing both of them, burning away the pain and sorrow brought by the loveless one, the black snake, Winnowill. Shadowfox sighs as her mind closes off, feeling whole again for the first time in many days... yet still, somewhere... there is a sorrow-filled emptiness that cannot heal so easily. You locksend ** Blinding light sweeps your mind, burning away the darkness surrounding your memory of Winnowill and her blacksending. Love engulfs you, as the love of a mother to her child would. The healing magic flows strongly, washing away the pain from the memory, and reviving the injured tendrils of your faint deepsensing magfic. The healing sweeps through your body as well as your mind, making firm what was weak, strong what was suffering. ** to Shadowfox. You locksend to Shadowfox, Leetah's magic turns to your wounded throat, beginning to work to knit the damaged cords back together, to restore the voice long silenced. LoneWolf sits, looking unhappy at the tableau Shadowfox starts in surprise as she feels the healing turning on her throat! Shadowfox locksends ** No... leaveit. It is part of who I am. ** The ball of healing magic rises from the two, spanning to engulf nearly the whole clearing. It tingles magic senses and brings a sense of calm and wellness to all who are nearby. Shadowfox stops her. The flowing magic halts midstream. Leetah's eyes open. LoneWolf frowns Leetah touches the half-healed throat. Her eyes glimmer. ** Are you certain, kitling? ** Shadowfox turns and looks at LoneWolf.. frowning at the send he got from him... Shadowfox sighs.... Shadowfox locksends ** Go ahead. Finish it. ** LoneWolf glares back LoneWolf gives Fox a challenging look Leetah nods her head, auburn curls bouncing. She raises her hand to Shadowfox's throat, a gentle gesture. Light once again eminates from her hands, warming the flesh, wounded long in the past. Shadowfox gives in... the long term good is worth thousands more at this time than keeping this last memory...of her lost family. You locksend to Shadowfox, Leetah touches you and a tightness, never realized as a pain, is softened in your throat. It is soft as a sigh, and when it is done, there is a sense of wholeness which has been absent for a long time. The warmth engulfs you briefly, then leaves gently, like a mother's goodnight kiss. A single tear drops and she sighs... it was done... LoneWolf sits and watching, his eyes glistening... Leetah sits back, eyes closing. The magic fades from the clearing, and Leetah sits there, looking small and very tired. LoneWolf looks at Leetah with concern ** Healer <> I...thank you... ** Leetah opens her eyes and smiles gently at Shadowfox. Shadowfox looks at Leetah in enormous thanks then turns her eyes to LoneWolf, then to the sky above.... ** <> Goodbye... mother. I still won't forget. ** Leetah turns her gaze to Lonewolf, bowing her head. ** I was glad to do it. ** LoneWolf looks at Shadowfox, shaken by her sends Shadowfox sits up, holding her throat in bafflement. She looks thoughtful.. but she nods to Leetah. ** I cannot begin to thank you enough. ** Leetah rises, touching Shadowfox's shoulder gently, "No thanks are needed." Leetah smiles around, and turns toward the clearing, "And now, if I may, I need to rest. If you have need of me, you ever know where to find me." Leetah moves slowly in the direction of her den. Shadowfox nods You head towards the Lost Holt Clearing. Lost Holt Clearing SkyCoyote stands and bows to Leetah Lighteyes looks over at Leetah. "How... how is she?" Silverfox blinks and looks up the hill.... Leetah nods her head, "She is well." Lighteyes smiles in sudden relief. Leetah smiles gently at SkyCoyote. "Hello, I am Leetah." She welcomes the new visitor warmly. SkyCoyote breaks out in a grin SkyCoyote says "Thank you for your greeting,Leetah." Lighteyes smiles. "SkyCoyote is another traveling companion of mine." Silverfox starts up the hill, a frown on her face. Silverfox climbs carefully up the hill that overlooks the river. Silverfox has left. SkyCoyote says "Are you weary from your healing? Is there anything we can do to help you?" Leetah smiles. "Aye, I am quite tired, but I shall be well with rest." You say "If you will excuse me..." Leetah bows her head slightly as she slowly returns to her den. SkyCoyote says "Certainly..." You walk towards the Father Tree.
