I&#039;m also with you that it would need some type of hard case. Those screens may be way more durable than they were five years ago, but they&#039;re still fragile in my book.

Hearing that it won&#039;t let you run multiple programs at once makes me even less enthused.

But the concept is definitely cool. I&#039;ll give Apple kudos for that.</description>

		<description>I figure that I&#039;ve got 4+ years left on my MacBook, and depending on how the herd of my computers has fluctuated I&#039;ll probably get an iPad as a notebook replacement.  Not as a primary computer, which my MacBook kinda fills, but as more of a front end for the big-honking-tower of legacy software &amp; files that lives next to the TV (which is probably ripe for a second disk controller and a terabyte drive or two).

All that said, I&#039;ll probably get the low end, no 3g ipad in a few years, of course by then it&#039;ll probably merge with the iMac, which will be a keyboard with IO, and the choice will be an Apple display or an iPad as a screen.</description>
